Our convenient condominium is located on the shuttle route to Okemo Mountain. We are 4.5 miles from the Okemo Base, 5 miles from Jackson Gore base, and 30 minutes from Killington. Our location provides a true Vermont atmosphere with a view looking out to a field and some gentle hills that provide for snowshoeing in the winter and hiking in the summer. We are close to all that you need. Singleton's, a typical Vermont grocery store, has all the food and beverage items you could want. It has a great deli and specialized meats section along with a selection of outdoor gear and maple products. Two Crow's Bakery, serving breakfast and lunch, is a close walk and is set in the usual Vermont style.
If more luxury is your desire, The Castle is an easy walk. The Castle, a former governor's summer residence, boasts fine dining and a luxurious spa. Amenities include massage, facials, outdoor heated pool, and a full-service fitness center. The Cavendish Inn, a short drive away, also offers fine dining. Black River Produce offers fresh foods and homemade items. Summer swimming in the Black River is a stone's throw from our home. A beautiful 15 minute drive North on Rte 100 takes you to the lakeside Plymouth State Park with boating, outdoor cooking, and swimming. Okemo Valley Golf Course is a 10 minute drive and is one of Vermont's finest public access courses, complete with putting/chipping practice area and driving range. For more dining choices, downtown Ludlow is a 5 minute drive.
As our unit is our "winter home," you will find most amenities present. We share our place when we cannot get there ourselves. Our condo is on the first floor of our building and is very close to the parking lot so access in and out of the unit is easy.
