Location: Portimao, Portugal, Europe (In center of Portimao old town. 30 miles from Faro Airport.)

Luxurious and historic 16th century manor house, fully renovated and refurbished in 2000. 12 bedrooms, all with en-suite shower rooms. The house is furnished with antiques, oil paintings and tapestries and has a large sitting room, indoor and outdoor dining areas (tables and seating for 24) and a kitchen with all facilities. At the back of the house is a walled formal garden with heated swimming pool, sun terraces, ornamental fountains and fish pond, beautiful mature trees, palms and flowering shrubs.
The house is situated on a narrow cobbled street just off the main square in the heart of the old town, close to the waterfront and numerous shops, restaurants and street cafes.
The popular beach resort of Praia da Rocha is on the far side of the town. There are several golf courses nearby.
The house has a full-time English-speaking maid. We have a small child-friendly dog. More details and photos are on our own website.
