Baydreams is located within three minutes of all the action and night life of the Kent Narrows resort area and just a short drive to the relaxing activities of the Chesapeake Bay area and Eastern Shore of Maryland. Enjoy a few quiet and relaxed days with someone special, close friends or family on the grandeur of the three mile wide Chester River as it opens to the Chesapeake Bay. Your own private scenic balcony, deck and pier, serves as an oasis when you just want to be away from it all for awhile.
Baydreams (main house) sleeps six adults and 2 children. The optional adjoining Bay Cottage Suite can accomodate an additional 4 guests. The Bay Cottage Suite features a plush King Bedroom, full functioning eat in kitchen, waterfront Living Room with pull out Queen sleeper sofa, a fireplace and panoramic views of the Chester. There is also a full bath and screened in porch and use of the laundry facilities. Please note, this Suite is only rented out in addition to the main house, Baydreams, it is not rented out separately.
With renowned seafood and steak restaurants at the Kent Narrows waterfront, your local dining experience will be superb. The Queenstown Shopping Outlets nearby promise the savvy shopper plenty to feast his or her eyes on.
House parties and/or private events are strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, rehearsal dinners and after wedding barbecues.

Our rates include cleaning fees, and taxes. Linen package available.
Security Deposit of $500 required; it is refundable after departure inspection.

Why the Owner Chose Kent Island
We chose the Grasonville, Kent Island area because it has that Eastern Shore feel of lazy days and breezy bay nights. When the relaxing is just too much for us (very rare), we can take a short drive to fantastic waterfront restaurants, shopping outlets, and big city fun in D.C. or Baltimore. The central location makes it easy to take day trips to any part of Maryland without spending the day driving.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We love kayaking on the Chester River. We feel like we are one of the many waterfowl we see off of our dock, just trolling the beautiful rippled waters. Fishing and crabbing during the summer months is a daily event for us. Enjoying our fresh catch for dinner is the highlight of our day.
Our home is well equipped for sunny days as well as rainy days, we are never at a loss for things to do.

My family and I had an awesome time at Baydreams! The waterfront is amazing, the neighborhood is quaint and friendly. There was so much to do at the house and the nearby surrounding area, there was no room for boredom. We loved the bike trail and the short bike ride to Holly's for breakfast. Everything was better than we could have ever hoped for. Thanks again!

Christmas would not be the same without our visit to Baydreams! What spectacular weather -- clear, windy, bone-chilling. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR HOME which is evidenced by our second visit. The folks at Chesapeake Environmental Center took us Geo-caching and birding. Bald Eagles carrying nesting material. Bufflehead Ducks by the hundreds right out front. Baydreams Family This was the perfect home for our girls weekend. From the tiki bar to the hot tub to the lazy afternoon on the dock we enjoyed your home to the fullest.. We all agreed that it was the best place we have stayed so far. Our girls weekend has been going on for over 10 years and we like to pick a new place each year. Now that we have found your Baydreams Home there is no point. And your friendly neighbor gave us crabs that he just caught ...we cooked them right then and there...you have everything you need in the kitchen. Looking forward to next year! July 25-Aug 1, 2009 We had a wonderful family vacation in your beautiful and comfortable home. We had a busy week with travels to Baltimore (Go Orioles!), Ocean City, Chestertown (for duckpin bowling) and Eastern Neck Island to visit our grandparents (great grandparents old home). The local outlets and restaurants at Kent Narrows were a nice break. There was always something entertaining to do at the house. We caught perch, rockfish and crab from the dock and took the Shimmy Wizzle and the kayak out to sea. After a nice dinner from the grill at the Tiki Bar, the most fun was conversation in the hot tub with a cold National Bohemian. Baydreams was the PERFECT home for our family to come together, spend time laughing and enjoying the celebration of my sister-in-law's wedding. The home was so well-appointed - I can't think of anything that we needed that was not there. Seems like you've thought of everything! Everyone had such a fantastic time and we all wished we had more time to spend there. A couple of days to just relax in that gorgeous waterside backyard would be wonderful! And please thank Joe for us - he was so friendly and helpful. Thank-you again - we hope that we will be renting Baydreams for a future family vacation.

Wow!!! We fell in love with your BEAUTIFUL home! My husband is a good cook (I'm very lucky!), so he had fun in your wonderful kitchen. We both loved eating at the bar enjoying the view of the fireplace and the water. And the Master Suite was just amazing!! We hope we'll be able to stay at Bay Dreams again soon. It's the nicest place we've ever stayed!

This is a phenomenal property! There was enough room for a large group to stay here and still each have their own private area. The waterfront is gorgeous. I highy recommend this for a romantic getaway or reunion with family or friends.

Baydreams was the perfect vacation. We were a group of mothers and daughters that enjoyed our stay so much that we were all disappointed to leave. The home is just like advertised. It is so peaceful and beautiful. It is decorated so nicely. The girls enjoyed the rowing in the boats and fishing off the dock. Staying in the master suite was delightful, especially having coffee on the private balcony and watching the sunrise. This home won't disappoint you.
