Beautiful, Seven Year Old, Custom-Built, two-story, beach house located in the Award Winning Ocean Lakes Family Resort. Our house is located in the popular Holiday Inn section of Ocean Lakes, site # 1384. Our house is just a few minutes from the beach and seconds by golf cart.
Our house was completed in the summer of 2005 and has been very well maintained.It has one Master bedroom with a Queen bed and full bath downstairs. Two Queen bedrooms and one twin bedroom upstairs. One of the queen bedrooms have a full bath. Another full bath is shared between the other bedrooms. We also have an extra den upstairs with access to the upper deck. This room has a pull-out queen sofabed. All bedrooms have cable TV. The twin bedroom and both dens also have DVD players.
The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you need including microwave, dishwasher, all cookware, and dishes. If you prefer to cookout a gas grill and patio furniture are available on lower deck. A washer and dryer is provided to make your vacation complete. Kitchen linens are provided, however, you will need to provide your own paper products, towels, and bed linens. No Smoking, and No Pets.
Ocean Lakes is a gated community with 24 hour security. The beaches have lifeguards on duty during Spring and Summer season. There are many activities available such as a new recreation center complete with an arcade, indoor/outdoor pool, a kids 'Splash Zone,' and miniature golf. Also available are shuffleboard, basketball, playgrounds, lakes and ocean for fishing (no license are needed to fish in Ocean Lakes private lakes), volleyball, horseshoes, nature center, and a brand new camp store and snack bar. Our house is within a few miles of many golf courses, restaurants, and shopping areas for your enjoyment.

We stayed at this house last week. We came with your two kids and our teenage niece and nephew as well as two friends. The house was great, rooms were spacious, clean. Pictures are definitely accurate. I would even say it looks better in person. We were all very comfortable. I loved the upstairs living area. The house is definitely well maintained. You can tell the family takes pride in their house. We did have to hose off the outside furniture on the deck as there we leaves and pollen on them, but I am sure that is related to us being one of the first rentals of the season.The owners are very nice. Prior to our arrival, the replied to my questions very quickly. One had one small problem while we were there with the golf cart one evening and it was resolved by early the next morning. It was a great time, great house. We really loved it and look forward to staying there again! Thank you for opening up your home to us!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: My family and I live in the Upstate of South Carolina. This is our second home that we enjoy at the beach, but like to rent out through the year for other familes to enjoy as well. We strive to make our home a special place for you and your family. We hope you enjoy our beach house as much as we do.

We chose to build our house at Ocean Lakes because it is a wonderful place for children to be able to run, play and ride their bikes while also enjoying the wonderful beach and pool that Ocean Lakes has to offer.
