A short drive to Sol Vista Ski Resort or Winter Park Resort will give you a taste of Colorado's world-class skiing. Cross-country ski or snowshoe at the Grand Lake Nordic Center, with rangers at Rocky Mountain National Park, or right out the front door! Many festive events are planned in the town of Grand Lake during the holiday season. There are fireworks over Grand Lake at New Year's and full moon ski tours each month!

You won’t want to miss out on staying at this lovely cabin in the mountains. With every amenity you could want you’ll never want to leave. This little bear has traveled the world but felt very at home here.
We walked in to find a yummy gift bag for us to enjoy during our stay. I was very impressed with the big kitchen stocked with everything that I needed to make this bears favorite meals. We loved being out during the day sledding, skiing and snowmobiling and then coming back at night to just relax by the gorgeous fire and warm these paws. Of course we would have been happy to just stay at the house all day long and never leave.
I was very impressed with the "Grand Lake Vacation Guide" that had everything we would ever need to make our stay very eventful. Everything from places to eat to places to rent snowmobiles and skis. It was definitely helpful since I am not familiar with the area. We didn’t have to spend half the day trying to find these places.
Another wonderful part was being close to the lake. It was absolutely beautiful!! I will definitely recommend this place to all my other bear friends and recommend you come stay here. You won’t regret it!
