Built in 2001, this house is perfectly situated in Tahoe Donner with a breathtaking view of the mountains and many modern amenities. It is two-story with 2400 square feet of living space and a two car garage. The main level has a bedroom with a full-size bed. Adjacent to the bedroom, is a spacious full bath with luxurious jacuzzi tub and a separate shower stall. The two-sink counter offers plenty of room for toiletries.
Also on the main level is a gourmet kitchen with a great room that's perfect for group gathering and entertaining. Rustic dining table seats 8 or more. Sofa and love seat for relaxing in front of a gas-fireplace. Three double sliding doors lead the way out to the oversized balcony for a breathe of the mountain fresh air.
The lower level consists of a huge family room, one master bedroom and bath (with jacuzzi tub), and one guest bedroom and a full bath. The deck outside of the family room has steps leading to the backyard.

My family of three stayed here for a long weekend, and we really enjoyed the amenities that this house offers. Although we only used one of the bedrooms, there is actually enough room for 3 or 4 families or couples to stay in this house. There's even a baby crib ready for use in one of the bedrooms! The bunk beds in the other bedroom would be good for a larger family. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything that you'll need to whip up some eggs for breakfast or serve a home-cooked meal for dinner. There's a Safeway located only minutes away along Donner Pass Road. My favorite part of the house is the fantastic view through the ceiling height windows from the living and dining rooms. You'll feel like that you are nestled in nature, while in the comfort of a home away from your home.

We Stayed at the Hapy family home in February 2006. The home is just beautiful- sitting on a lovely quiet street with a great backyard for sledding in the snow! The home itself was well equipped and the owners are extremely organized! There was plenty of sleeping space- great for 2 large families. We especially love the toys for our children to play with:) We hope to rent again very soon! Thank you!

We stayed at herringbone just after Christmas, 2005. The house is gorgeous and well set-up. We slept eight comfortably with room for many more if you had a larger party. Yulin was really helpful as we booked very last minute. The house is close to many amenities and we had an excellent experience.

WONDERFUL house! Spacious, quiet, lovely neighborhood, excellent location. The top floor layout is especially conducive to group conversation, cooking, relaxing. The owners have taken great care of the property - everything was as promised. Would definitely stay here again.

This house is fabulous! It has a majestic view that's perfect for a getaway. During the winter season, there's snow on the deck and backyard so we didn't have to travel to play in the snow. The deck was up to code so the kids could play and build snowmen there without any worry that they'd fall through the slats. Other bonuses include Safeway and Outlet Mall down the hill. I'd highly recommend this place.
