Located at 6200 ft in the San Jacinto Mountains above Palm Springs, we offer breath-taking views from a wrap around deck area that extends the entire length and side of the home. Lots of windows for viewing wildlife and birds.
We offer a library of DVD's, Wireless Broadband Internet service and local telephone service. Feel free to feed the birds on the deck. Walk down to the gazebo below to enjoy the cool night air and quiet solitude or relax by the wood burning stove. Bar-B-Que with side burner for your grilling pleasure.
All kitchenware, dining set, mattresses, bedding and linens in both bedrooms and bathroom are included! Each bedroom has a queen sized bed -Master is a Westin Heavenly Bed.

Why the Owner Chose Idyllwild
I chose Idyllwild to purchase my vacation rental because I live right down the hill and can be in the snow or cooler climate in 40 minutes. With this is mind, I am always just minutes away in case my clients need me or extra attention, instructions, or just want to chat. I love the idea that Idyllwild does not have chain stores or fast food. It is a great escape close to LA, Orange, San Diego and Riverside Counties.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
The View and the deck, is the bomb! Also, I enjoy soaking in the tub and the cabin is very kid friendly.

Thanks very much, your cabin was very clean, the large balcony was a great place to star gaze. I would highly recommend to stay here for a nice quiet weekend getaway. We stayed at this cottage last Christmas and it was so cute, clean and cozy. Our sons loved feeding the birds and squirrels on the deck and there was a large snowy park just up the road. Being opposite the fire station, the street was kept gritted and free of snow and we were just a 5 minute drive from the shops and restaurants of Idyllwild. The cabin was nicely stocked and my sons especially loved the old fashioned waffle iron and still talk about the great breakfasts overlooking the treetops :)

this place looks exactly like the pictures! Exceptionally clean and well stocked. It is great to go into a rental and have spices of all kinds to cook with. Bird viewing was wonderful. Easily accessible to Idyllwild. I just wish we had stayed one more night to enjoy the hiking. Next time we will. i would love to see it in the winter.

Memorial Day Weekend 2010 - My family and I, 5 of us in total, just enjoyed a real nice weekend here. The cabin was easy to get to, clean, and had everything you need to just relax and enjoy the trees and the view. We were comfortable and enjoyed breakfast and a bbq out on the deck and watched movies and hiked around. The village and hiking trails are a short drive away. We will be back.

Perfect getaway. My wife, my 2 year-old, and I had a fantastic time. The cabin, or more accurately, the house, is just a very short 3 mile drive up the hill from downtown Idyllwild, so restaurants or the school playground are easily accessible. Or if you like the seclusion, stay in and cook at home either in the fully equipped kitchen or barbeque on the balcony. Be sure to bring peanuts in the shell and the birds and squirrels will put on a constant show right outside the living room windows. We will absolutely return now that we found the perfect place.

I meant to write quite a while ago, but the rush of travel and season events seems to have stopped me! When Elaine and I arrived at your cabin everything was just perfect. It's too bad that we weren't able to stay longer as we enjoyed the cabin, the mountains, and the town of Idyllwild. I hope we may get another chance to stay there and would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed for a weekend here in January 2009 with our 4 and 8-year-olds. Cabin was just right for four: cozy, warm and clean. In the DVD collection was a variety to suit every taste. The cabin's slightly higher elevation than Idyllwild let the girls enjoy their first snowfall. Thanks, Patti!
