There are many restaurants throughout the island, including Red Hook - 1 mile away. Rent a car, call a taxi or take the $1 bus that leaves at the end of the driveway.
EASILY EXPLORE OTHER ISLANDS! The ferry terminal is in Red Hook, 1 mile from your condo. It leaves every hour for the 20 minute trip to Cruz Bay, St. John. Visit Cruz Bay for shopping or dinner or take your car/rent a taxi for a day trip to snorkel the underwater trail at Trunk Bay. TERMS OF AGREEMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
DAMAGE DEPOSIT: One night's rent damage deposit is required. Damage deposit is fully refundable within 30 days after rental, if there is no damage to property or missing items.
RESERVATION DEPOSIT: Two nights rent is due within 7 days of reservation, which will be deducted from the full rental price. The condo will be held out of the rental pool for 7 days from your reservation date. If your deposit is not received within 7 days, the condo will be considered available for booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival.
CANCELLATION POLICY: High Season & Thanksgiving: Refunds only if property can be re-rented for the same period. If re-renting is successful, there will be a 10% re-booking fee. Otherwise, no refund will be available.
Low Season: In all cases, if condo is re-rented, only a 10% re-booking fee will apply. Otherwise, terms are 30+ days notice, full refund less 10% re-booking fee. 16-30 days notice, 50% of rental is forfeited, if not re-rented. Less than 16 days notice, no refund, if not re-rented.
CHANGING DATES: You many change dates, based on availability, with a $100 change fee.

This is as close to ideal as it gets when staying on St. Thomas. The other reviews here have mentioned the helpfulness and hospitality of Karen and Norma, and I can confirm that this is no exaggeration. I spent weeks looking at resort options before discovering this place, and I can only say that my trip would not have been so enjoyable had I stayed anywhere else. You're close to Red Hook, close to the ferry and located on the beach with the nicest view of any on St. Thomas. Forget about the Marriott or some similarly tepid offering. Here you get an attractively furnished, very clean home away from home with a kitchen and two full bathrooms. A previous reviewer has recommended that you rent a car, and I strongly concur. Even if you don't travel all over the island or visit St. John, it's nice to be able to get a bite in Red Hook whenever you feel like it.

We (2 adults and 2 children, ages 11 and 9) stayed here in late August/early September, 2011. Karen was wonderful to work with and very helpful and accommodating. The exterior of these buildings is rather dated, but do not let that deter you. This condo was modern and new inside, attractive, comfortable and very clean (clean is really important to me). Norma keeps the place shipshape and is very pleasant to chat with. It was as lovely as depicted in the photos – no surprises, as can sometimes crop up. The kids got a kick out of the Murphy beds, although they were a little disappointed that I was only joking about folding them up in the beds to sleep. The view over the pond, to the beach and the ocean beyond, was just stunning. Sapphire Beach is a perfect setting for whatever you like to do on your vacation: a beautiful beach on which to sunbathe or play, with helpful and friendly “beach chair ladies,” crystal clear water for swimming, reefs and sea grass for snorkeling (with a resident turtle who I was fortunate enough to encounter), and a nearby beach bar and grill with strolling waitresses and waiters. I enthusiastically recommend this unit and I look forward to returning myself someday.

We stayed at the Crystal Cove condos in July 11 and enjoyed every minute. The pictures are accurate but dont do it justice. The beach is just a short walk away with some nice snorkeling and a small reef. The view of St John just adds to the ambiance. We took the car ferry to St John from Red Hook and enjoyed our day there also. Red Hook is just a few minutes away and has most everything you need for dining and groceries. I would recommend a car to get there because there are no sidewalks on the island. We took the dive boat from the marina next door to the condos and rented a jet ski there too. Very convenient, we stayed on the east end for most of our trip. Highly recommend this condo, Karen the owner is great to work with and responsive to all your questions.

This condo is the place to stay when vacationing in St Thomas. We have just spent 7 days there and cannot fault the place at all. We were welcomed by Norma, who was very pleasant to work with. Diane placed our chairs on the beach every morning. The condo had everything, like a home from home. We loved having a bathroom each and the view was fabulous. We rented a car and ate most evenings in Red Hook, which is a 5 minutes drive away. Defineylt recommend this place to stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sapphre Beach is gorgeous, and this condo is right there. The condo has everything you need, it is beatifullt decorated and Karen, the owner is great to work with. She supplies you with information not only about the condo, but St Thomas as well This is a big help for first timers to the islands. We ran into Norma and she is a pure pleasure. We would not hesitate to stay here on our next trip to St Thomas. In dealing directly with this owner you get more than you bargain for. This condo is very convenientt to Red Hook, which is where we went for dinner every evening.

I rented this condo for a week in March 2011. Karen, the owner, is a delight to work with and is a great source of information about the area. The condo was perfect for our group - myself, my 4 year-old daughter, and a family friend. My daughter and I slept in the King-sized bed, which was very comfortable. My friend used one of the murphy beds, which she said was comfortable. The condo is roomy and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. We ate our meals at the table on the porch - fantastic ocean view! Having a washer and dryer in the condo was a great help. Norma, the woman who is the condo caretaker, was very helpful. She found beach toys and snorkel gear for us, and asked if we needed anything whenever we saw her. Sapphire beach is very nice and if I return to St. Thomas, I would most certainly rent this condo again. It is a very relaxing, low-key place. Crystal Cove is not a full-service resort, BUT you can get drinks and food on the beach, as well as rentals (snorkel, scuba, floats, water bikes, kayaks, parasailing). It is a great place for a vacation!

We have stayed at this condo complex for several years. This condo was the best. It was very clean and had almost everything needed for a great vacation. The view is wonderful. The porch was great for morning coffee or just to relax and read. It was a great place to eat our meals. Norma was just wonderful as usual a real gem. Dianne also was helpful. We would love to stay again.

Our family had a fabulous time and were extremely thrilled with having made the decision to rent a place instead of a hotel... The ease of setting up the rental contract and access to the condo was more than we expected. The pictures short changed the actual beauty of the condo and location. The condo more than met our expectations in cleanliness, and accessability. Karen was wonderful at answering questions and getting us information to any and all of our questions/concerns. The location makes you feel as if you are 20 minutes from EVERYTHING. We have bragged about this vacation and stay to all our friends and family and will definitely be making another trip in the future. Thanks for a FABULOUS experience. I just have to say... If you want to stay at a beautiful Condo with a awesome beach and friendly people.. Then look no further. My wife and I travel all over the world and this was a magnificent place to stay if you want a quiet atmosphere with impeccable cleanliness inside and out. The owner Karen is very helpful and made a online booking the easiest to deal with. The view from the front porch is awesome and you will NOT be disappointed. The only complaint I have is that we didn't stay long enough!!!
