  My husband and I recently stayed a week in Maui at Lahaina Roads. It was the first time we used VRBO and we were very happy with the condo and location. It was exactly as described. The location was perfect, close to beaches and Lahaina. We did have a car rented however it was nice to be able to walk to these locations if we wished. We loved being right on the ocean listening to the roar of the waves. The condo was clean and well stocked with kitchen utencils etc. We would definitely recommend this condo and would love to go back.

  This was a great condo for our honeymoon. The view was fantastic and had a view of the sunset every night. Very close to the local beaches. The best was that it was walking distance to downtown Lahaina, only about a mile walk. Every great shop and restaurant as well as the harbor was just right down the road. Up the other way there was another shopping center as well as parasailing, jet skis, horseback riding etc. The only thing I wished the condo had was central air. It was bearable with the doors and windows open for the breeze that came off the water but still could have been a little cooler. Overall great place to stay, very close to shopping, dining and activities.

  Would definitely recommend. We stayed here for 2 weeks and quite enjoyed our stay. Property, while older, is very well maintained and is in a very convenient location. It was very clean upon our arrival. Owner was cooperative and provided some good qualtiy information about the area / dining etc.Listing description photos etc were accurate and properly reflect what you are getting.

  My husband and I stayed in this Lahaina Roads condo for our honeymoon in early March. The accommodations were perfect for our vacation lifestyle. Every minute spent in the condo we left open the sliding doors to the balcony overlooking the ocean. We very much enjoyed the soothing sound of the waves pounding the shore while sitting on the comfy furniture reading and planning our next adventure or cooking and feasting. The sunsets behind the off-shore island of Lanai were picturesque. We enjoyed peaceful pre-dawn hours on the balcony, and late afternoon swims in the pool. The area is very quiet, and we had no trouble sleeping. All appliances worked great, and the kitchen is well-stocked with pans and dishes. The only issue with the building is that the parking on the ground floor is quite tight. We had rented a Jeep, so we just had to be extra careful pulling into spots. The location of the building however is perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the grocery store, and the main tourist strip/downtown is about a 15 minute walk away. Halfway between the resort beaches to the north, and those to the south beyond Maalaea Bay, you are well positioned by staying here. We highly recommend this condo unit!!!!!

  My daughter and I stayed in the condo for a few nights and it was amazing waking up next to the ocean. The condo is very well kept and in a great location. Cherise and Hedy were really easy to work with and made our stay very enjoyable. This place is great if you dont want to deal with crowds of people around you since it was a very private location but still within walking distance to everything. We can't wait to go back again!

  Clean condo right on the beach & outfitted with everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again! Great location (north end of Front St) & within walking distance of restaurants (5 Palms has an awesome view, Happy Hour, fish tacos & sushi). Condo owner was very good to work with & the process to secure the dates was painless. Only downside was road noise from bedroom so no sleeping in!

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

  Owner response: Since our lovely dwelling is on the ocean like most ocean front properties is also flanked by the main road of Lahaina. The main road runs along the ocean. During the day and mostly working hours the road can be livley. If you are ultra sensative to noise and love to sleep in it is probably not the best area to vacation.

  This unit is very well maintained and immaculate. Pride of ownership is very prevalent. When working in Maui I need serenity and peace as my job requires much concentration. I am always able to relax completely and find refuge in these units. I love to walk to local eateries and shop at the organic grocery store. Starbucks, Barnes and Noble, Mala's, and Honu Cafe are my favorites. The unit is right on the water and the water activity is dramatic from boats to turtles, dolphins and whales. The pictures do not do it justice as it is better than the pictures. All you need is your bathing suit, flip flops, and shorts as the place is completely outfitted including beach gear. I cannot wait to return.

  My Daughter and I recently stayed in this unit 9 days in May of 2011. Hedy and Her Husband were very pleasant and the booking process was a breeze. The Condo was nicely decorated and exceptionally clean, the bed and living room furniture were very comfy. Tiled floors throughout which was a plus due to my allergies. Nice Kitchen and Bath. Having the washer and dryer in the unit was so convenient, we were able to pack lighter which made travel easier. The Ocean Front View was wonderful, we enjoyed the sound of the ocean......so relaxing. A few of the nights I couldn't get the unit cool enough for comfort even with the the cross winds and the fans. The bedroom window faces Front St. which is quite close, times through the night and early morning can be quite noisy by passing trucks, cars, and motorcycles ....woke me several times, however my daughter slept right through. The grounds and pool are clean and very well kept. Parking was great there at the ground floor, quick access to the elevator and up to your room. Quiet small complex, home away from home.

  Owner response: The loacation of 205 is a livley area during the day. The street noise subsides after 9pm or 10pm. We are always in the process of enahancing the condition of the property. Lahaina weather is exquisite and can be warmer than the rest of the island but typically evening tropical breezes and our high quality fans keep the unit very comfy.
