The Lonely planet guidebook for Baja California says" Mulege is the prettiest little town in Baja." It is Located on the Santa Rosalia River at the mouth of Bahia Concepcion. Many wonderful activities are within easy reach. Whale watching at San Ignacio Lagoon, 7000 year old cave paintings, the oldest in the America's, at San Borjitos and La Trinidad.
The Baja Catch by Neil Kelly and Gene Kira says "Mulege is the heart of the finest middleweight game fishing in the Sea of Cortez, perhaps in North America." Bahia Concepcion with it's white sand beaches and islands is undoubtedly the most scenic place in Baja. The snorkeling is great right at our lighthouse and there is a local dive shop.
With saltwater, freshwater, desert, mountain and oasis environments in close proximity the variety of bird life is incredible. Email is definately the best way to contact us. Perfect for us and our pet!

My wife, small dog and I were traveling from Cabo to San Diego and needed a pet friendly place with internet to spend the night.This turned out to be the perfect place for us.After our 10 hour drive we just wanted a comfortable place to unwind at with no problems. Cliff emailed us great directions with pictures so it was easy to find. When we arrived the key was in the door and the air conditioning was on. We rented the one bedroom La Casita, which had a large, walled patio that was perfect for our dog. The bed was very comfortable with top notch linens and towels. The internet signal was great and the unit was clean and well maintained. We cooked steaks on the BBQ and really enjoyed ourselves in the backyard.We also took a nice walk along the river. We will definately stay here again the next time we are in Mulege.
Recommended for:Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family LOVED our stay here! Mulege is beautiful, the casita was centrally located, clean, quiet and very well maintained and the host was so helpful and fun I hated to leave. We will return!
