This was our first trip to Anna Maria and we are already planning our trip back for next year! We have traveled to Hawaii, East Coast, San Francisco, Colorado, Virgin Islands and the Caribbean & Anna Maria is all of these places & more!! The house is all that the pictures show & John was very helpful in answering any of our questions. We would recomend this house and island paradise to anyone so if your not sure this is a definite YES!!! Loved all the restaurants and shops in town, very unique. John we will be back next summer, thanks again for sharing your home with us. We left a few beach towels & some goggles behind for the next visitors. Enjoy!!

while there in february 2011 we booked for february 2012, our 4th february in a row. decent place, greatest view, manageable problems. repaint & sprucing this year helps. more should be made of the fact that the 2nd bedroom can be private with the 2nd bathroom. anna maria town is the best spot on a great island, anna maria island. walk-to restaurants, beaches, bars.

Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

Wonderfully Relaxing vacation home

Thank you for allowing us to use your home for our families vacation. The home was spacious and comfortable. The veiws from the patio & livingroom spectacular. The entire family enjoyed watching the dolphins, pelicans, and other wildlife while we soaked up the warm sunshine. It was difficult to leave and return to the cold new england winter. Thank you also for the personal attention to the details of our visit.

Great place, just a hop, skip and a jump to a fishing pier with food. Nice frontage to sit and chill out with your favorite cocktail. Short bike or motor scooter ride to the best beaches I've ever been on. If your a snow climate person try this place and become a BEACH PERSON for a week !!! Enjoy the moments.

Owner response:Tom, Thanks for your response. The beaches here are some of the best in all of Florida. The beach just north of the house is world class. The best part about this part of the island as it relates to beaches is the lack of people. Since there is no public parking near the northern part of the island, there aren't the MOBS you see in Bradenton Beach and even Holmes Beach. Very unique! Thanks again- John and Margaret

We loved our stay in this house. We had everything we needed, and the rental company was first rate. John gave me a great deal, better than the rental company. This place was right on the water, we could not have asked for anything better.

This house and its ideal location on Anna Maria Island make it one of our favorite places to stay. It is clean, quiet, and walking distance from everything. We have stayed there at different times of year and it is always perfect. We'll be back soon!

Beautiful & Relaxing!!

This is a stunning home right on the waterfront. I so enjoy the views every morning of watching the dolphin play and even had a manatee swim right up to me in the water! It was fabulous! At night we sat out on the patio and marveled at all the stars and the sounds of the water hitting the shore as well as the people on the piers waiting to get into the restaurant(s) or just having a good time! You can walk down the beach for quite a way and everyone around is very friendly!! It's a wonderful place to visit and has become one of my favorite spots to vacation!!

Great views in the clean and modern home

Happy to review this home. The home is a nice sized three bedroom home with views to die for. Oversized master suit with views to the water. Dolphins swam nearly every day right in front of the home. There is a pavers on the porched area in the back. Private for laying in the sun and relaxing. You can walk to Anna Maria where there are some restaurants and shops. The Rod and Reel Pier is 2 minutes walk...great seafood omelets!! The BEST beaches are just short walk at the north end of the island..(Bean Point). I will be back!

November 2010 Vacation

We had a great time on our vacation. The house was very nice and very clean. We enjoyed being able to go outside and relax by the water. The view from the livinroom/kitchen was awesome. There are (2) excellent restraunts out on the peers within walking distance of the house. Anna Maria Island is nice because it is so easy to get around--we took the trolley, rented bikes and walked everywhere where we needed to go. I would highly recommend this property to all my friends!!

Indeed, the views from the porch are unmatched during the day but even more so at night! For the benefit of others reading...We have three peer restaurants on the island...one is less than a two minute walk and the other perhaps five minutes or so. The third is in the village of Bradenton Beach ...a 10 minute drive or so. Thanks for your review...maybe we will have you again this coming summer! Best- John and Margaret

Best place to stay on Anna Maria Island!

We were just amazed when we arrived at this Anna Maria Island waterfront home for our week's stay. The house is just gorgeous. The view of the gulf is breathtaking. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. It's in a quiet, residential area near some of the best sand beaches, and really close to the famous Rod & Reel Pier/Restaurant (try the grouper Rueben or the seafood platter). Some of the highlights of our vacation include our morning bike rides to Ginny's & Jane E's Bakery and Coffee Shop, dinner at the Sandbar, parasailing (we used YOLO), walks on the beaches, visiting the ice cream shops, and just enjoying the relaxing island lifestyle. We will definitely try to stay at this home during our next visit to Anna Maria Island.
