Groceries, shopping, and restaurants are all walking distance. We have several bikes for you to enjoy the miles of tropical bike paths which make this area very desirable!

You know the place you're staying is perfect when the weather is bad, but the vacation was excellent. Let it rain, we wathched fabulous surfing from the coziness of the couch on our deck. The bike path was awesome, we were back and forth from Sunset to Waimea Bay. Perfect location, we loved it. Thanks so much!

This is the golden mile of the North Shore with Pipeline to the left and Sunset Beach to the right. There is no better spot to be.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The winter world class surfing and whale watching, are unbeatable. We are at the tip of the point and have views to the left of Pipeline and views to the right of Sunset. No other location has this view. The summer snorkeling and swimming in the crystal waters are amazing. The year round sunsets, shell collecting, biking, beach walks provide relaxation and exercise all in one.

Aloha, we are kamaina (born and raised in Hawaii) and we also live on the North Shore. We purchased this beachhouse as a place to retire one day because there isn't a more beautiful beach in all of Hawaii.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this Rocky Point Beachfront home for two weeks, and it was absolutely perfect. It was the first family vacation I had planned, and having this home to come back to each and every night was a joy, Its location and easy access to everything the North Shore has to offer was its best feature. The beach out front was too dangerous for our family to swim in, but a dozen other beaches were within a five minute drive. The lanai was the best morning coffee spot to plan our days, and the best sunset watch with a cold beer. The locals and the surfers were amazing, and the time they took to stop and chat or offer advise was very helpful. Teds Bakery became addictive, and I am still dreaming of the coconut danish. Shrimp truck dinners became a must, and daily trips to Matsumoto's for shave ice every evening went without saying. We especially appreciated the use of many bikes and snorkeling gear. It was all so wonderful... we WILL be back!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at this vacation home located on Sunset Beach in early August. The backyard of this house is only a few steps away from the beach, which was sparsely populated the whole time we were there. We had fun "playing" on the beach, or simply sitting out on the deck watching the waves or the awesome sunsets. We also enjoyed BBQing outside on the grill. The house was very clean and well maintained. The owners have thought of everything a person might need while they were away from home. Although it wasn't air conditioned, there are ceiling fans throughout the house and there was always a nice breeze coming through the windows, so AC wasn't really necessary. The outdoor shower was a nice addition too! We rented a car and were able to see all the sites in Honolulu which really wasn't that far away, while the Polynesian Cultural Center was only a short drive away. We enjoyed driving into the little town of Haleiwa where there were a number of restaurants and shops. Our favorite restaurant was Haleiwa Joes and we enjoyed our shaved ice at Masumotos. Also, on Sunday mornings there is a farmer's market there. I would highly recommend this property to a friend or relative and we have plans of returning ourselves some day. Hi Ann, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your house with my family. We had such a nice week walking the beaches, snorkeling with sea turtles, and relaxing on the porch!
