Our elegant non-smoking country home is situated in one of Stowe’s most private and scenic areas but only a short distance from the Mountain Road (Route 108. The property has three and a half acres of land and shares a large common pond nearby. You can lounge by the 50 foot heated pool surrounded by our beautiful garden in summer, or slide down the hill on a toboggan in winter.
Snowshoe or cross-country ski outside our front door, or access Stowe’s famous recreational path, just moments away for a cross-country ski, walk, or bicycle ride. The property is ideal for a ski week getaway or a relaxing summer retreat.
Access can be made through the garage, or directly into a mudroom/vestibule. The home has an open and spacious floor plan which provides a lot of living space. Furniture and linen are all new! The kitchen is well equipped. A separate spacious dining room seats 10 comfortably. The sunken living room has skylights providing lots of light with views to the pool and garden.
The ground floor bathroom contains a shower. The family room has satellite wide screen HD TV, DVD/VCR player, CD stereo and fireplace. A separate dedicated staircase, affording the utmost in privacy, brings you to the master bedroom, with fireplace, sofa and coffee table, office desk, whirlpool tub, shower and large walk-in closet. An additional staircase off the living room takes you to a large guest room with two twin beds, and walk in closet, bathroom with separate bath and shower, third bedroom contains trundle bed with pullout bed below. Adjacent second den comes with desk and sofa bed.
The finished basement is furnished with a large sectional sofa bed and table tennis. All rentals, whether three nights or more, require a $175 departure cleaning fee. Deposit required, to be refunded at check-out, assuming there are no damages. |
