The Buche Haus (Beech House) is a scenic and peaceful getaway for your pleasure during all four seasons. At 5000', our Alpine-style condo chalet is located atop Beech Mountain in the North Carolina Mountains only 1/2 mile from Ski Beech. It is a very convenient and affordable weekend, weeklong or monthly vacation spot and great for family reunions, romantic weekends, honeymoons or a girls/guys weekend away. Just 15 minutes from Sugar Mtn, which has not only great skiing, but events throughout the year.
The first floor has 2 bedrooms (1 king & 1 queen bed) and a full bath as well as a washer/dryer. Both bedrooms have Cable TV/DVD/VCRs. The main floor has a living room with fireplace, Cable TV/DVD/VCR, dining room, full kitchen, full bath and 2 decks with nice views. A queen pullout couch and a queen aerobed are also available. The 3rd floor has a great view, a full-sized bed and a 1/2 bath. The condo offers ground level access making it easy to unload.
Our family stays there regularly so the condo has all the amenities to make your stay easy and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals. We provide books, movies, games infant/toddler items, linens/towels and firewood.
We are not far from Banner Elk, Boone, Valle Crucis, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Year-round Activities include hiking, shopping, wine-tasting, restaurants or curling up with a book by the stone fireplace or out on the deck.
We are Beech Mountain Country Club members so you can take advantage of club offerings like swimming, golf, fitness center, massage and tennis for a very nominal fee. Additionally, the *new* Buckeye Recreation Center has indoor/outdoor activities for all ages during all four seasons.
