We had a fantastic time despite a small accident on the slopes. The condo was very cozy and the neighbors were very friendly. We loved the fact that the neighbors had formed a relationship with local deer and they visited the front yard every morning. Overall we all had a great time, even the nephew that broke his wrist said that he was daydreaming with snowboarding. This condo is a great place to spend spring, summer and winter vacations. .5 miles from Beech Mtn. Thank you Janice for sharing your home with our family.

We stayed here with another family and had a great time! We had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for all of the kids to play! Janice was great to work with and very nice. We went skiing and loved the ski school and the resort, everything was great, we had a blast!

We had a fantastic experience at the Buche Haus. We visited Valentines Weekend along with another couple and our two children. The house was very clean and well stocked and the perfect layout for our party. The house had many extra's aimed at kids, so our 5 year olds had the time of their lives. The owners took extra measures to ensure that we knew where to buy groceries and get a good meal. Thanks for opening up your wonderful home to us. We can't wait to rent again.

We had a great week at Buche Haus seeing all the area attractions and enjoying the cooler weather. The condo was clean, well-stocked, and close to everything on Beech Mtn. The owner was easy to work with and provided a great deal of information about the area which was helpful in deciding where to eat and what to do. Next time we will come in the winter so we can try the skiing!

Our family stayed at the condo for 1 week in June. The condo was well equipped, spacious and clean. Our girls enjoyed the games and puzzles that were available. Janice was very responsive (by phone and email) and extra helpful in providing details about the local area (activities, restaurants, ...). We really enjoyed everything about our vacation.

This was a great condo for more than 1 family to share. We stayed end of Dec 08 for new years eve. Skiing at Beech was not great as there wasn't much snow and they hadn't had enough cold weather to make snow yet, but Beech is a nice family type ski resort. We've been there before and we will return. The condo accommodations were perfect and the view was great too. Plenty of bedding and we used all of the air mattresses. Kitchen well stocked, had absolutely everything we needed and was well organized. Owner is very easy to deal with, no problems whatsoever. We had our family of 5, my sister's family of 3 and 2 grandparents. It was a great family vacation with lots of fun memories. Beech mountain is a pretty short drive and the town where the restaraunts and sledding are is just a few minutes further up the road. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

We had a fantastic time! Buche Haus was great place to celebrate our anniversary, and the accommodations were oh so comfortable!! The leaves were at their peak; the weather was perfect; and the walks, hikes, and visits to the local attractions were stupendous. We had a wonderfully memorable time at your place! Every room was amazingly clean and well equipped, and we were impressed by the many "extras" you thought about and provided that ensured our comfort. These "little things" consistently reflected an uncommon concern for your visitors and obvious pride in your lovely home. The full kitchen was perfect; the fireplace was warm and lovely; the family room and bedrooms were terrific. Even the beds were comfortable; we slept like babies! (At our age, that's quite a feat!) We loved the deck for our breakfast with nature, and for our glass of wine at the end of a perfect day. Thanks for the on-site library, games and DVDs! We enjoyed the convenience of having everything within arm's reach. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us. We can't wait to return again, soon!

Stayed 02.16-02.21.2008. We had a really great vacation. Condo is very spacious and accomodating. Close to ski slopes and everything else on the Beech Mountain. Wish we had a bit more natural snow. Would definitely come again.

We had a wonderful time. It had snowed before we got there and then snowed while we were there. The condo was very nice, comfortable and cozy. My children loved it and got to see snow for the first time. They sledded down the slope behind the condo and at the sledding hill in town. We had a fantastic time and would come back.

We had a really great time! We arrived on Jan. 1, 2008, and it was already snowing. It snowed all night and all the next day. There was enough snow to sled down the slope behind the condo. The kids had a blast doing that! The condo was very nice and accomodating. We would definately go back. Thanks!

Had a really nice time. It is waaayyy up there and the weather was definitely a lot cooler than sw fl. Loved the tennis and hiking. The condo was really nice and felt homey to come home to after a days playing.

The condo is wonderful. All amenities made the stay pleasant and easy.We took advantage of the easy drive to Blowing Rock for the afternoon, and enjoyed local restaurants. Bed was very confortable and we loved the easy access to unload our car. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time while visiting Beech Mountain. We felt very much at home and had a spectacular winter vacation. We went skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and played games. We also visited Grandfather Mountain. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to another getaway very soon.

Our retreat to the mountains was a wonderful experience for the family; we bonded. We played games and sang karaoke. We enjoyed the autumn season and the scenery; it was very pretty. It is an experience that we will never forget.

I went with a group of friends for a study weekend and this condo was just perfect. It was very cozy, spacious and well maintained. We spent hours on the sunny balcony soaking in nature as we tried to soak in Oriental medicine principals! Very convenient to many hiking trails and to downtown. We found the Guest Information book to be very helpful when picking local attractions and restaurants.

We had a wonderful weekend at this rental property. Two families with eight in total slept comfortably during our stay. The place was very clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. We decided to cook most of our meals and found the kitchen to be fully equipped. The location allowed us plenty to do. In two days, we went hiking, fishing, swimming and gem mining. One of the best parts, was that our favorite ice cream parlor which is in Blowing Rock was close enough for us to drive to for dessert. It was a great time had by all. We looking forward to returning during the ski season.
