Welcome to "Ocean's Gate". Located on beautiful Anastasia Island, this first floor direct ocean front vacation home is ideal for families. Our condo is in the St. Augustine Ocean & Racquet Resort, which was voted Best Condominium Community in St. Augustine. Our professionally decorated unit features two bedrooms and two baths.
Ceiling fans in every room, and an open floor plan make for a wonderful island feel. A fully equipped kitchen including all major appliances, as well as a coffee maker and blender, will help you stretch your food budget. The special cookie pan provided is a must use, and makes the perfect batch of cookies for your family to enjoy. Our home also has a wet bar, which is a great feature to help you start cooling off after your day in the sun.
Sliding doors open to an outdoor patio from the living room, and lead to a private grassy expanse. Watch the kids play outside while enjoying the ocean breeze on the patio. Beyond that is your boardwalk taking you to the beach. YOU CANNOT GET ANY CLOSER TO THE OCEAN! Wi-Fi was just installed, so bring your laptop. We also just purchased a brand new king-size bed for the master suite for our guests to enjoy.
Unlike units on upper floors, no need to drag your beach and pool gear up and down stairs, and through your home. Just leave it right by your patio for your use at any time. Bring your bicycles, and go biking right on the beach, and then just leave them right outside your home too. Enjoy a spectacular sunrise from your patio, and later watch the changing light at sunset. In addition, this is a corner unit, providing more windows and light to enjoy your views.
NO HIDDEN FEES!! Most condo owners do not include taxes and cleaning fees in their rental rates. This can add up to alot of extra money that guests have to pay. We advertise all fees in the rental rates, so you know exactly what you will be paying.
Your home is close by miniature golf, and the Publix shopping center (including Starbucks). Both are close enough to ride your bikes to. Our resort is one of the only gated communities on the island, and offers not one but two pools, including a heated one. Three newly resurfaced tennis courts are a great way to get some exercise with the kids. Go fishing in the lake, and then afterward have a family cookout on the barbecue in the picnic pavilion. Try your hand at shuffleboard too. Our well-maintained resort truly has it all. After an active day, enjoy a relaxing soak in one of our five open-air jacuzzis, and watch the stars come out.
If golf is your bag, then have fun at the World Golf Hall of Fame, featuring two championship 18 hole golf courses. There are also numerous public golf courses nearby. Feel like a change of pace? Then spend the day at one of the theme parks in Orlando - only 1 1/2 hours away. How about some shopping at one of the largest shopping outlets in the southeast, just twenty minutes away.
For a real change of pace, check out St. Augustine, the oldest city in America. Park your car, and walk along the cobblestone streets. For history buffs, take a tour of the Castillo de San Marcos - a 17th century Spanish fort with a real working cannon demonstration daily. The kids will love the Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum, and the alligator farm. Everyone will love the fantastic restaurants, and homemade fudge and ice cream.
Located conveniently in northeast Florida, between Jacksonville and Daytona, the unspoiled white beaches on the coastline of St. Augustine will keep you coming back for many years to come.

Why the Owner Chose Ocean Racquet Club
Our Condo is located in the magnificent complex, St. Augustine Ocean & Racquet, a gated community on Anastasia Island. It was recently voted the Best Condominium Community in St. Augustine.
Located in northeast Florida, the area is easy to get to. Due to the regular sand replenishment program, the beaches are always immaculately clean and very wide. You can even go for a bike ride on the beach, one of my favorite things to do with the kids. Bring the fishing gear, because there is a lake right in the complex.
There are also two pools, one of which is heated and there are five jacuzzis, which are great for the fall and winter. We enjoy "hot tubbing" at night - picking a different jacuzzi to relax in after a great meal at night.
Don’t forget that St. Augustine, America’s oldest city, is just a few miles away, with all the restaurants, shopping and family fun you could want.

Our family loves going to the beach, and spending time together. We are excited to be able to offer our spectacular oceanfront condo for your next family vacation! My wife and I wanted to have a unique place to enjoy at the beach, and wanted to share our 2nd home with others.
We love going to play miniature golf right down the street, and our nightly ice cream runs are a must for us. Mango Mangos is my daughters’ favorite place to eat, and my wife and I love the Beachcombers restaurant, which you can walk to on the beach.

My family stayed in your condo in the summer of 2009. We had a great time. The condo was extremely clean and very comfortable. Loved the first floor accomodations. The complex is very well maintained with great pool facilities when the kids wanted a break from the beach. We will definately visit again and share our finding with friends and family.

This place is beautiful. We stayed here for one week with our two kids and my mother. The condo was so comfortable and homey that we didn’t want to leave. With the backyard right outside our door, it was very private on our patio. The brand new furniture in the family room was gorgeous, and the easy first floor access was perfect for our kids and my mom. Our children spent all day in the heated pool, and my mother loved the jacuzzi. This was our second time staying here, and we want to thank you again for sharing your home with us.

Our family of 5 stayed in this lovely 2 bedroom condo, "Ocean's Gate". The open floor plan allowed us plenty of room. The kids loved playing in the backyard when they were not in the pool or on the beach. We have never stayed in a unit with a backyard before, and it is absolutely fantastic if you have children. The condo was extremely clean, and the king size bed in the master bedroom is a real plus. The best feature of the unit was the closeness to the beach. Being so close, it is easy to go back to the condo for snacks, drinks, and naptimes. Also being on the first floor, we could leave all our beach gear right by the patio, and not have to carry everything upstairs and through the unit. Our kids loved watching the stars with us while relaxing in the jacuzzis. My husband and children went bike riding every morning on the beach, and we were able to leave our bikes right outside our condo. Our family had a great time, and we definitely would recommend Ocean's Gate for a wonderful family vacation.

We recently stayed at your condo. Living in Florida, we have had the opportunity to stay at many ocean resorts. Your condo was by far the best condo we have stayed in, and your complex is the best resort we have stayed in. The unit is decorated very nicely, and was really clean. The best features is being so close to the beach. It is very convenient when you have kids, because you can go back and forth to the beach so quickly. Also it’s nice to be able to leave our beach toys outside the unit, and not have to carry them through the condo. Having the private backyard right outside our patio was terrific. We brought some toys for the kids, and we could watch them play while sitting outside enjoying the breeze. The king size bed for us was just what we needed for a great night’s sleep. We will make sure to tell our friends all about our wonderful experience!

We have been coming to stay at Ocean's Gate for 5 straight years, and have come to think of this place as our second home. We have stayed at 2 other condominiums before finding this one, and will never stay anywhere else again. The description and the photos on the website are exactly what you find. The condo is extremely clean, and very well organized. The puzzles the owner provides are a nice touch. The best feature we like is being on the first floor, and so close to the ocean. It is so easy to go back and forth to the beach. Having the shopping center right down the street is a big plus too, so we can stock up on groceries. Riding our bikes to miniature golf, and having an ice cream right there afterwards, is one of our favorite things to do. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the king-size bed in the master suite is the most comfortable we have ever slept on. The owners have seemed to think of everything, and we plan to keep coming here every year.

Our family stayed in your unit August 2009, The condo itself is a beautiful unit. The spacious living room and master bedroom gives me and my children plenty of room to enjoy our stay. We absolutely loved being right next to the boardwalk. Not much of a walk to lug all of of our beach stuff!! The complex itself if very nice. My children loved the extra large pool and they even used the smaller one when the larger one was too crowded. We enjoyed our stay!! Thanks a bunch.

My family has visited St. Augustine at least 5 times, with 4 of those in this unit. The owners have maintained it very well, even renovated within the last year and a half. We always know our experience will be enjoyable with no surprises. The location near the boardwalk and parking lot are a huge plus! I enjoy the visits by the ducks and watching the bunnies from the patio. We have taken advantage of the pool, tennis courts even the shuffle board. We will definitely be back again.

I stayed in Unit 5121 for three weeks in May 2009. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the unit, as well as the floor plan layout. This ground floor oceanfront unit was very conveniently located right next to the walkway to the beach, as well as to the amenities in St. Augustine Beach and downtown historic St. Augustine. I would recommend this unit to anyone interested in a St. Augustine beach retreat.
