Tropical grounds and ocean breezes await your arrival! Fern grottoes, waterfalls, fountains, Koi ponds, wooden bridges and strolling paths make North Coast Village a peaceful retreat. Add heated pools, romantic jacuzzi pools, a fully equipped gym with two saunas, game room with billiards, ping pong tables and we're just getting started on the amenities. Our complex is right on the beach - no roads to cross to get to the water. We're just across the San Luis Rey River from our quaint and active Oceanside Harbor.

Stroll down to the seawall where you can perch on the wall at sunset and sip a glass of champagne as you watch the sun slide into the sea...or if you prefer, capture it all from the privacy of your own deck. At night you can watch the boats sail into the harbor with their lights dancing on the water.

For those with physical challenges, we have elevator service, single level living with no steps and paved or wooden walkways which are easily wheelchair accessible for most of the complex. However, we have grab bars in the tub of E104 only - and access into the bedrooms and bathrooms would require someone who is ambulatory.

If you are traveling with friends - extended family or planning a family reunion, wedding or special event let us know .. we can help! We offer a tastefully appointed condo with everything you need to be comfortable, and right at home. All of our furnishings are in excellent condition. A good nights sleep is so important and E104 has a Cal King Bed in the Master Bedroom with a temper pedic topper from Costco.

We have just purchased two new convertible chair beds. They are in the living room and replace our former wicker chairs. We now sleep 4 in beds - but also have a portable crib for infants and our toddler futon for tiny tots from 18month- about 4yrs

Our condo is electronically equipped with amenities including High Speed DSL (ethernet) WIFI . HD Flat Screens in both rooms . We have DVD components for watching yours or our videos. In addition, we have front AV jacks for Nintendo games, a complete nice quality stereo system console with Stereo/CD changer/Tape deck and MP3 compatible.

We have a working telephone for local calls, and we offer free high speed DSL if you have a newer computer with an Ethernet port. WIFI is included - and it is encrypted for your protection. Do you need to work while on your vacation? If so - just ask us about our mini office. Our rental include linens, bedding, towels, beach chairs, mats, cooler, umbrellas, beach towels, and sand toys for toddlers, plus a selection of popular games, books and puzzles. We will rent you a beach trolley for $35/wk

In 2008 we had a custom dining counter built into the balcony and added tall captains chairs so you can now sit outside up high and enjoy a meal, cocktail or coffee while you watch the waves rolling in - the surfers - the harbor ships.

Coin operated Laundry facilities featuring top of the line 'Neptune' machines are in our building. There is one car designated parking for each unit in a gated and underground parking garage close to each unit. Extra parking is available in guest spots - which have specific rules for use .. so ask us about that too if you have more than one overnight vehicle.

Our Maximum occupancy in a 1bdrm condo is 4 persons and 6 persons for our 2bdrm unit this includes infants. No Smoking and No Pets -Strictly Enforced at all times! We have a 3 day minimum off season, and generally ask for 5 nights minimum during peak seasons. You are not restricted to Sat only start and end in summer .. Just tell us what you want and we'll see if we can make it work for you. The earlier you book .. the better the selection of dates that will be available.

Let's talk about cleaning - many of our guests ask us about how clean our unit is .. We clean carpets 4x per year .. tile is professionally steamed every couple of years and grout is repaired and resealed direcly afterwards. We are at the beach - so it is WET here .. that means mold has to be attacked regularly and it is a never ending job. Our housekeeper is the same one day in and day out - she knows our units intimately. If you are missing something you wanted - or something is not working. Please call us right away - we keep a storeroom on property with spare everything - from coffee makers to ceiling fans and can respond pretty quickly to keep you happy.

We use the Shark steam cleaner system on our tiled surfaces to keep them clean and sanitary between our guests. We use Duvee covers on our blankets and comforters. We have pillow protectors on all pillows under the pillow case. We don't use any other mop, vacuum or broom other than the ones that we provide in this exact unit. We refresh our condo twice per year - April/May and Oct/Nov. Our condos are kept up to date.

Lastly Please be wary of any ads you come across in popular sites like craig's list or facebook which ask you to send money in a wire transfer or cashier's check or money order. Why the Owner Chose North Coast Village

We wanted to be close to family - my sister initially had the only grandkids - Now her kids are grown and ours are little - so the shoe is on the other foot. She does travel up to visit us .. but we just love coming down to the beach to escape the snow in Tahoe where we live. It's the perfec balance - Snow and Surf.. who could ask for anything more?

The Unique Benefits at this Condo

We are in love with Legoland at the moment - and have bought annual passes - they are an incredibly good deal - So.. when we come down we go there for 2-3 hours every day to let the kids play and run. We also get a kick out of the Wild Animal Park - a part of the San Diego Zoo.. it is only 10-15 minutes away and again - buying the annual zoo pass is a good deal .. and if you join by way of the zoological society - it is currently tax deductible too - and gets you free entry to both the zoo and the animal park. Last but not least - there is something special to falling asleep with the sound of the waves pounding .. it is soooo soothing. Our climate up North is very dry - when we're down here - our skin just slurps up the moisture and we feel so 'renewed'.

Dad's taking the picture - so here are Cindy and our boys - at North Coast Village Oct 16, 2010 for the wedding of our Niece which took place at the seawall - with the cocktail party on the E Deck and reception in the Party Room over the Koi Pond.

We started coming down here regularly when our niece was born to be a part of her life and close to my sister and her husband. It carried forward into our buying a unit - then another and another. Before you know it -we had a rental business. It's all in the family now - with a total of 6 beach units between the two families .. four of them right here at North Coast Village. My husband is retired -and I'm getting there .. we have two lovely young boys to raise and just love being able to bring them down to the beach. The weather is spectacular all year long - there is so much to do - and see .. it really is a marvelous place to vacation.

I've been flying for 38 years for a major airline - and have stayed in every conceivable type of room. I think I know what is important and what isn't. We try to maintain our units to a very clean - very comfortable and completely equipped status being mindful that our summer guests needs are very different from our winter guests needs. Our reviews tell us we're doing pretty good at that task.

Had a great time, could see, smell and hear the ocean from our condo it was great. The condo was roomy, clean and everything we needed right there. We could walk just about anywhere, and when we did drive we had great access to main highways. We well definetly be back, and working with Cynthia was a breeze. My daughter and granddaughter loved it and my daughter from Seattle flew in to visit. We had plenty of sleeping areas and enjoyed a day at Sea World and a night at Medeville Times. Thanks again

The perfect family vacation

Our family rececntly vacationed at North Coast Condo. Our one bedroom unit was perfectly equiped with everything we needed for a stress free week. All you need to bring is your clothes, food and toothbrush! We were looking for an all age appropriate vacation and this really fit the bill. We had view of the harbor, which was with-in easy walking distance. The beach was just outside the fenced community and the pool and bar-b-que provided were clean and provided many hours of pleasure. We enjoyed a trip to the mission and a family day at the local bowling alley (very affordable). The owner was responsive to all my e-mails and supplied all the information I needed. The price was very reasonable. We had no reason to eat out, so our additional spending was minimal. Thanks for a great week!

WONDERFUL AND RELAXING!!

What a GREAT time we had staying in E-104! It had EVERYTHING we needed or wanted! I didn't even need to use my normal sleeping pills to get to sleep, as I was lulled to sleep by the sounds of the ocean waves crashing against the shoreline, as we left the windows and deck door open. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and viewing the lush surroundings of the pool and all the flowers and greenery, and of course the picture perfect-window view of the ocean and encompassing sounds! We like to eat at Ruby's at the end of the Pier each time we visit the San Diego area. It was only about a 5 minute walk from the condo. And we LOVED walking the beach and collecting the favorite sea shells each early morning and evening. We took walks, read, built sand castles and relaxed in the beautiful pool and hot tub. We cooked on the grill and took advantage of the game room as well as the games provided in the condo. It couldn't have been more relaxing! I visit the San Diego area every year or so, but this is a first staying at Cindy and Greg's....BUT it definitely won't be the last! Thanks Cindy and Greg for your hospitality! "j"

My husband and I have small children and we know how expensive it is to travel so we have done everything possible to make our condos comfortable, affordable, dependable on quality, well equipped for young and old .. with the little extras every parent wishes they had - a video library, booster seats, portable crib, step stool for the sink, futons for toddlers - just to name a few. Both of our 1 bdrm condos have great ocean views - and we improved that by installing custom dining counters onto our balcony - so you sit up higher - to enjoy the view for as long as you care to. Beach Paradise

We just returned from our vacation in Oceanside where we stayed in the 2 bedroom Condo and it was absolutely fabulous. For a family of 5 it was so spacious and nice and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. The grounds and pool of the condo are spectacular and we spent a lot of time at the pool when we weren't at the beach. We also did all the San Diego Attractions from the Zoo to Sea World and the Wild Animal Park and the condo was 30 mins or less from each, very convienent. We even drove to LA to see a Dodger game and it was only 1 hour and 30 mins. We definitely will be returning next summer. Thanks Cindy! The Baltazar Family

Wonderful Long Weekend

We stayed at E107 from 5/13/10 to 5/17/10. Although the weather was crappy, the condo was wonderful and there was plenty to do at the game room and fitness room. Just sitting on the balcony watching and listening to the waves was enough. The town was close enough to walk to all the shops, I didn't get in the car from the time we arrived to the time we left! Everything we needed was in the condo, the bed was SO comfortable! I slept better than in my own bed! We loved having breakfast on the balcony with the captain chairs. We used everything from the outside grill area to the sauna. The whole compound was so peaceful and lush. We wish we could come every year!

We just returned from a week staying in unit E107. This unit has the most spectacular views of the sunset. The set up is family friendly and the owners have taken extra care in making sure that kids from 0-18 are taken care of. We will, most assuredly, use again!!!

We have just returned from spending a week at the condo. The condos are great!! We arrived on the eve of February 27, 2008. It was so nice to be able to drive up, take up our luggage, and have everything we needed already there. We have stayed at both E104 & E107, and have thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The Bashfords have done an excellent job of funishing the units with everything you could possibly need. They are clean, and have a nice balcony view of the ocean. And they have redone the balcony with a bar & available seating. We spent much time out there, for eating and relaxing. We would highly recommend E104 & E107.Both mave met all expectations of ours. We will be returning. Thanks again Cindy. We had a wonderful time!!

We stayed at North Coast Village from 13 October until 20 October 2007. The condo, grounds and location were great. We stayed as part of a driving holiday of Arizona, Nevada and California, and it was great to be able to relax and walk everywhere when we were in Oceanside. We could drink in Jo's Crabshack at the marina, we could walk into Oceanside for coffee, shopping, library etc, and we could walk to the station when we caught the train to San Diego. The complex is right on the beach so sea front walks were part of our routine every day as well - that's when we weren't relaxing on our balcony looking at the ocean!

Spent only 3 days at North Coast Village and it wasn't enought time! Cindy is Great to rent from and the condo 107E is outstanding ! You are right on the beach! LOCATION , LOCATION , LOCATION !!! Carlsbad is 2 miles. San Diego and Temecula's wine country are 30-35 mins. away. Will be back !!

My husband and I enjoyed two weeks at NCV E107 in May of 2005. We loved how not crowded this So Cal city was before the season and that everything was within walking distance. There were events, farmers markets, plus food, shopping and museums etc. Oceanside is also a great location if you enjoy San Diego and Orange County. The Bashfords are great. They are easy to reach if you have questions and their directions as well as description of the condo are very accurate. North Coast Village is lovely, just as pictured. The security is very friendly, as well as HOA. We would certainly consider renting from them again...and plan to.
