The Moose House is a private family home on a 3/4 acre forested lot right next to the forest boundary in beautiful Fraser Colorado. The four bedroom, three bath home has a circle driveway and private hot tub that offers star gazing from the outdoor deck. The ample aspen groves and lodgepole pines mix to create that quintessential Colorado feel. Just five minutes from the Safeway in Fraser, fifteen minutes from the Winter Park ski area, and yet on the Winter Park free shuttle line, this home offers a superb combination of close-in convenience and relaxing seclusion.
The master suite is setup to handle either a couple's romantic getaway or three couples' worth of youngsters, leaving the other three bedrooms available for couples. The huge kitchen comes fully equipped to feed everyone and enough space for all the chefs to work! Give us a call and relax in Fraser/Winter Park!

Had a fantastic mtn bike ride on Vasquez, Blue Sky, D4/D2, Elk Meadow, WTB. Trail was great, trail map left a lot to be desired but made for an adventurous outing. Today hiked Devil's Thumb and post-holed through the snow for a beautiful ridgetop view of pasternoster lakes. In between summer and winter so we had uncrowded trails and crisp fall weather. That jelly in the fridge doesn't look so good, so we'll clean up the house a bit. Folks should take their MILK with them - sad to see rotten milk in such a great house. In spite of the scary yogurt we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

What a wonderful getaway destination! We hope to come back time and time again. We rented a speedboat on Grand Lake and had a crazy adventure when a storm rolled in. I think we will try the alpine slide at Winter Park today and play a few games on the patio. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

(kids) Today we arrived. It was about noon when we got here, but now it is close to 1:30PM. The ride took about 2 hours from Louisville, well it would have if I didn't have such a small bladder. Tomorrow me and mom, stepdad and sister plan to eat at the Hungry Bear. I recommend it, it is wonderful! Then we are going to rent a boat and go out on the lake.

The Moose House was wonderful. The Chavez Family had a great time in the mountains and lakes. The best part was in the Rocky Mountains being up by the snow and to be able to look at God's green earth. It was wonderful being away from TV and the quiet nights I never get to sleep in. No car or traffic noise. We did get to see a few moose and chipmunks and a hummingbird. Best of all was the company of friends. Thanks!
