This North Longboat Key home is a spacious three-bedroom, two-bath vacation home with a large screened lanai and boat dock. Located on De Narvaez Drive in the tranquil neighborhood called Sleepy Lagoon, it is ideal for fishing, swimming, boating and just relaxing. The deep water canal leads directly to Sarasota Bay. Multiple citrus trees provide all the fresh fruit you can eat in season.

A four person VitaSpa Hydrotherapy hot tub invites you to relax after a busy day exploring all that the area has to offer. A wireless internet connection and printer are available for your convenience(bring your laptop computer). It is completely furnished with all the amenities. We provide cable TVs, local telephone service, VCR and DVD players, a stereo and a Weber gas grille with BBQ tools for your enjoyment.

The living room, kitchen and two of the three bedrooms open to the large screened lanai area with table and chairs, hot tub and views of the water. The home is located on a deep-water canal where you can dock your own or a rented boat. Kayaking here is wonderful! It also has a well-equipped utility area including a washer and dryer.

Easy water access to the Gulf and Sarasota Bay. Five minute walk to the beach access makes it convenient to watch the legendary sunsets and enjoy the white sand beaches and blue waters of the Gulf Coast. We provide beach chairs, umbrella and towels, a cooler with wheels and bicycles. Short drive to Anna Maria Island, St. Armands Circle and Sarasota.

  • What a wonderful time we had at the "Tropical Escape". The home was just perfect and the six weeks we spent went too quickly. We are almost positive we will be back again next year. Perhaps for a longer stay. The neighborhood was delightful. Everyone was so friendly. As this was our second year in Longboat Key, we now feel as though we are natives.This is truly a "Tropical Escape".

  • We spent a wonderful four weeks at A Tropical Escape we enjoyed a relaxing stay in a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood close to the beaches. This part of Florida is a truly wonderful area, we would not hesitate in returning again and recomending A Tropical Escape as a first class vacation rental.   • We were very fortunate to be able to spend three weeks at "A Tropical Escape". The house certainly lived up to its name. The weather was sunny, a bit on the cool side but nothing to stop us from enjoying every day. This part of Florida lives up to the phrase "another day in Paradise".   • Our stay at Tropical Escape was quite pleasant. The surroundings were quiet, the trees and bushes were a pleasure and I became a Hot Tub convert. The house flows nicely and the two separate wings of bed and bath are wonderful. The location of the house is an a great residential section and the beaches are a delight. Highly enjoyable stay.   • We absolutely loved our time here. the walk to the beach was very easy, it is truly the best beach on the island. Bike path was super fun, we rented a kayak, it was delivered to the house, and we paddled around the canal netwrok. Great grill!
