: The condo was the best! The view was amazing! It was great to watch the skiiers coming down the mountain during the day. The convenience of skiing directly to the condo was a big plus & the walk to and from the square was a nice stroll. The condo was furnished with a western flair & everything was comfortable for the 5 of us. We enjoyed the hot tub on a snowy evening. The only drawback is that there's only 1 washer & dryer for the entire complex. We highly recommend the unit we stayed in - it's on the top floor of the building! And Brad, who leased the condo to us, was helpful in every way. You'll love this place & we'll definitely stay here again! We miss it already!

Our stay in Steamboat was one of our best ski vacations ever! The snow was incredible during our visit - - almost too much of it! The location of the condo was also perfect because everyone could come and go and they pleased during the day . . and in the evenings, it was a short walk to Ski Time Square for Apres' Ski drinks! The condo has great views of the ski mountain and you can even see hot air balloons in the mornings!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was everything we expected: well-appointed, renovated, great ski in/out location, excellent shuttle service, friendly staff. Thanks!

Great Location, Great Value, Great Views! You cant get more bang for your buck what we did when we stayed in this unit at Storm Meadows Christie Base. The unit was clean and well kept . . and the location was perfect for my family! You can ski right to the door when you want to stop for lunch . . and getting back on the slopes is a no brainer! We could also walk to Ski Time Square from the condo, which was a huge plus! Brad Luth was very helpful in planning our stay, we will definitely be back to Steamboat next year!

Great views from this place. From the ski mountain, south to The Flattops. Well appointed. The place has just about everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Within walking distance to the gondola and many restaurants. Managment was attentive to any needs.

The condo was in great shape and in a great location. We always stay at Storm Meadows as we like to be close to the resort and the lifts. The space is great for 5 people. Our stay was great. It is nice to be so close to the ski slopes and not have to deal with parking. I want to thank you for the opportunity to stay at your condo. It was fantastic!

The unit was great. Stayed 2/15 - 2/20 2010. Awesome ski in ski-out location. Stocked with high quality towels, soap, kleenex, etc. Not the cheapest stuff in the store. Very clean. Great communications, directions, instructions in the unit. Highly recommend. Snow was awesome!!! Could use a few more things in the kitchen - collander, toaster that holds bagels (or toaster oven). Starter stuff (e.g. first morning's coffee).

My old college buddies and I have been taking annual ski trips for the past 20 years and Steamboat is one of our favorite resorts! This place gets way more snow than most resorts in Colorado and the lift lines are pretty much non existent. The Christie Base bldg is a convenient Ski-in location that is also just a short walk from Ski Time Square where there are plenty of good restaurants and bars!

Bad location, old building, bugs galore, NOT ski-out, bad floor plan, bad rental agent, JUST BAD!!! We stayed here over the Christmas holidays of 2009 with my 2 children and my 70'ish parents. Both bedrooms upstairs via narrow, spiral staircase. Additional "loft" where children were supposed to sleep is actually part of one of the bedrooms and IS NOT separate in any way. Building is ancient and you can hear every person that comes and goes in the hallway, even the one downstairs. VERY LONG walk to base of mountain and no shuttle service as advertised on the back of the condo unit door. Long walk, then flat run if you want to ski to mountain base. Rental agent was not willing to find us another unit near the base of the mountain once we arrived and complained. Did not refund any of our money either. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and made for a less-than-Merry-Christmas-vacation.
Owner response:Upon arriving at the unit this guest immediately called and said the property would not work because of the spiral staircase leading up to the bedrooms (her parents were with her -older and have a hard time climbing stairs) . . a picture of these stairs and description is on the listing however and she never made mention of this concern or request prior. She was staying over the Holidays, so everything else I had was booked that was actually on the ski mtn (ski in or Ski in/out) , but I did have another brand new unit on a shuttle route that I could move her to . . she decided she wanted to stay put and everything was OK. The next morning she called and said an alarm starting going off in a unit next door (not managed by me) . . but we were able to get access into the unit and turn it off later that day. I never heard back from her until the day she left, demanding she be reimbursed for her stay - - stating the unit was not ski in/out (it is only Ski-in as described on the listing and on everything I sent her) . . . that there was no shuttle service via the Storm Meadows Shuttle (there is a Free City shuttle service you just have to walk 1 block from the unit to Ski Time Square which was shown on a map with directions in the unit). To Ski out from this unit, you walk down a set of 6 steps (at bottom of bldg) and walk 20 yards across a parking lot, put your skis on and ski down to the base of the ski resort/gondola.
