The first few days we spent in destin were chilly so we were so happy we chose a vacation home so comfortable! This condo was warm, had a gorgeous view and we definitely enjoyed our time spent in it!

This condo was magnificent. It was comfortable and indulgent. It had everything we needed for a week stay. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to take advantage of the seafood markets. The views from the balcony were amazing. This was perfect for our little family of 4. The whole resort was amazing and very well kept. Each of the towers has it's own swimming pool as well as a large community pool and baby pool. The beach attendants were very well mannered and accomodating. We were in close proximity to all the attractions. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Silver Shells is a great place to take a family with teenagers. It is walking distance from many activities ( water park, go carts, putt putt) and resturants. We had a great time and plan to go back soon.

We had a wonderful vacation at your beautiful condo. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The beachcart and chairs were awesome and very helpful. I would love to stay at this condo again. The owner was very helpful with any questions. We love eating at the Backporch and the Crab Trap. We are looking forward to next year already!

Spectacular Condo and Resort!

This condo was more than what we excepted. It was beautiful and very well maintained. The pictures definitely do not do it justice. The decor is fresh and up to date. The resort is large, but once you are in the condo, you feel very isolated. We never heard the neighbors, and the resort was very busy while we were there. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. And there are 4 gas grills that are well maintained on the ground level. We did not use these but saw a lot of other guests using them. We will definitely next time we visit. The two bathrooms were very spacious with each having a large shower. The master bath also has a fabulous jacuzzi tub. The beds were very comfortable and the black out curtains were great for sleeping in. We enjoyed sitting out on the spacious balcony and watching and listening to the ocean. Nice table and chairs out there to enjoy meals. There were many pools to enjoy. The St. Lucia building had it's own pool to enjoy. Or the indoor/outdoor pool just a few steps away. But the favorite of the pools was the main pool. Very spacious and never felt crowded. We spent most of our time on the beach though. It is a very short and close walk from the condo. And Jim provides 4 very nice beach chairs plus a cart for them. He also has a boogie board and net to use while you visit. Jim was very helpful and friendly from the start. He wanted to make sure that our stay was perfect. And it was. I have already recommended the condo to some neighbors and we would love to stay there again. Some things to do: Baytowne Wharf, Harborwalk Village-eat at Harry T's and watch the boats, Donut Hole, see alligators at Fudpucker's, and just enjoy yourself. Thank you Jim for sharing your beautiful condo with us and truly making us feel at home.

This is a fantastic condo!!! It was my husbands and I's anniversary weekend and we brought our 5 month old. This condo is perfect for a quiet get away and even the baby had a blast! ....this condo was very roomy and clean....had a great view of both the beach and the city. The pool and spa were amazing...staff was very friendly. And the owners worked us up a great deal! What you see in the listing...doesnt even compare to how beautiful it really was. Thank you so much and cant wait to visit again! Highly recommend!

My partner and I recently stayed at this condo and it was exactly what they said it would be! The ocean views were beautiful! The sunsets were amazing from the balcony. The walk to the beach was very quick and you didn't have to cross any roads. The pool was huge! The beach access was very convenient to our condo and close to everything you needed for a day at the beach. They had outdoor grills to use at your convenience. There was even a private pool and hot tub away from the main one so that we could relax away from the people. The condo was very clean and very large for the two of us, it's perfect for 2 couples to share. Very spacious. They had beach chairs for your use too. It's high up so we could sleep with the balcony doors open and hear the ocean at night. What a wonderful location! I would recommend renting a car to drive to restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much!

Great Condo for Girls Weekend

We chose this condo because it had two large beds in each room, instead of the typical twin bunk beds that the second bedroom usually has. This way we each had a comfortable bed to sleep in, and they were comfortable. It was a perfect place us and I to relax and unwind. The sunset from the balcony was stunning! The condo and resort were clean and we felt very safe! We will be back next year.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. We only stayed in the condo for 3 days but it was great. It had everything we needed. Very upscale - even nicer than the pictures listed on VRBO. Also, the view was very nice and the walk to the beach was much better than we thought. We would definitely try to rent this condo again in the future!!

This condo was perfect for our vacation. The location is great and is within 5-10 minutes of everything in Destin. The property and the condo are kept in perfect condition. The beds were very comfortable and this is always important to me. The view from the balcony could not have been better, We spent every morning and evening on the balcony overlooking the ocean and the white sands of Destin Beach. The condo description was accurate and we were not disappointed in the furnishings, the location or condition - everything was top knotch. The full size washer/dryer is a definite plus and the movie channels helped on a rainy day! Loved that the St. Lucia building has it's own small pool and spa. Also, check out the indoor/outdoor pool and spa in the gym area (quiet retreat). The location of the complex is within walking distance of some restaurants and easy driving distance to lots more restaurants and attractions. Easy drive to Northwest Florida Regional Airport (VPS) which was extremely easy to get around.

Excellent Location and Luxurious Condo!

The views are amazing from this unit since it's on the 10th floor. You can see the gorgeous blue-green waters of the Gulf as well as westward toward Destin down 98. It's decorated luxuriously and has a lot of space. The bathrooms are great--huge showers and plenty of storage. Great pools, hot tubs, and a spa on site.

We stayed in this condo for the Labor Day Weekend. It was a wonderful getaway for two couples. I have tried renting from other owners, but none were as easy as this experience. There were no worries from beginning to end. The condo was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely return again!

We enjoyed our week in Destin, especially condo#1004! Large rooms, beautifully decorated, really 2 master suites, lovely open living room, dining area, and kitchen. The balcony was perfect, a great place to read a book or relax. The views from the balcony are gorgeous, sunsets super! Wonderful beaches, very large pool, restaurants, shopping, entertainment close-by. While we were there, the weather was delightful. #1004 has all the amenities you would ever need for a perfect vacation!

We stayed in St. Lucia 1004 July 11-17th and had a wonderful time. The condo is very nice, tastefully decorated and served our needs. We had a 17 month old with us and therefore rented a crib locally. The owner was helpful in getting this arranged. All of your basic needs are provided in the condo and the resort is nice. I was especially pleased at how efficient the elevators were given we were on the 10th floor. It never took over 1 minute to have one arrive to get us. The resort pools and beach area are very nice. It was great that the owners of this condo provide chairs for the beach since we didn't want to do the daily rentals. This meant one less thing to have to pack. All in all it was a good trip and the condo met all of our expectations.

This was my second stay at Unit 1004, St Lucia. We liked it there so much the first time that we had to come back! The condo has every luxury that you could wish for, and a wonderful view of the ocean. My favorite thing about staying there is hanging out on the balcony in the evening listening to the ocean waves and watching the sun set over Destin. The beach is fantastic and a very short walk from the condo. The lagoon pool is so nice--love the waterfall! We plan on visiting again in the future.

This is the second time in Destin and we had a wonderful time. The resort was centrally located to all of the hot spots that Destin has to offer. I really enjoyed the vacation. The resort is nice and this room was beautiful. I found a wonderful restaurant BAY CAFE 233 Alconese Ave, Fort Walton Beach 850-244-3550. French restauant just remarkable. About 20 minute drive and worth it.

My husband did a lot of research to find us the perfect spot for our vacation and he did. The condo was stunning and had everything that we needed and more. I have visited Destin nearly every year for 14 years. I have never stayed in the same place more than once, but I think I have found my annual vacation condo in this beautiful resort. There was no detail left out of the gorgeous decor and the top of the line television and stereo system were definitely a bonus. The grounds of Silver Shells are well-kept and family friendly. My family members spent a lot of time on the tennis courts and basketball courts, while my daughter spent several hours in the playground area. I intend to come back next year and highly recommend this unit to others who expect a beautiful condo, excellent view and the gorgeous beaches of Destin.

My husband Greg and I visited Destin on a much needed vacation for the both of us! Silver Shells Resort was definitely the nicest place I have ever stayed and the same goes for this condo! It was more spacious than I had anticipated and everything in it was so lavish, modern, and elegant, while still being comfortable and cozy. The tenth floor of St. Lucia gave us a perfect view of the sun setting over the ocean each night. My favorite part about the condo however, was relaxing in the large whirlpool bathtub at the end of each day on the beach. I can’t wait to visit Destin again, and I wouldn’t dream of staying in any other condo at the resort!

This is the first time my husband and I visited Destin. We had heard great things, but we really didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised, to say the least. The area had lots to do for either singles, couples or families. Silver Shells is an extremely remarkable resort. My husband and I like to travel and have stayed at many different places and we can honestly say Silver Shells in Destin is one of our favorites. The extra luxuries in unit 1004 made our trip most enjoyable. The flat screen TV's, surround sound, whirlpool tub and beautiful decor were very impressive. We fully enjoyed our week in Destin and highly recommend Silver Shells, St. Lucia unit 1004 for the best experience.

I work for the owner of this condo and my family and I had the fabulous opportunity to visit it in the Summer of 05'. My son spent his 1st birthday there and it was a great time! Silver Shells was a great family oriented place with tons of kids at the main pool, but lots of privacy at the smaller St. Lucia Pool. Some highlights of the condo were the awesome entertainment it provided, including the plasma televisions, movie channels, and surround sound. The beds are comfy, the kitchen fully equipped, and the access to the beach was a quick walk away. Would recommend highly, to families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing place to get away!
