Whidbey offers every outdoor activity for the adventuresome, or you can simply take in the peaceful tranquility of Villa Luna. You will come away renewed in spirit! And for those who need to "stay in touch," high-speed internet, wireless and fax are included.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
$450/night (two-night minimum)from May through October and holidays
$2900/week; $150 Cleaning Fee per rental.
$500 refundable security deposit within 14 days of rental ending.
Full amount due three weeks pior to arrival.
50% deposit on rental rate at time of rental.
Winter rates are $350/night or $2100/week for groups of 4 or less
November through April - otherwise same as above

Why the Owner Chose Freeland
We fell in love with Whidbey Island immediately because of the peacefulness and physical beauty of the Island. We hope to retire here from California within a few years.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our visits to the Island are a complete escape for us. The beauty is constantly changing and astounding. The pace is slow and you cannot help but notice the breathtaking views in every direction, from the Cascades to the Olympics, not to mention the friendly folks, wonderful food and wine, artists of every kind to tempt your creative soul, and the family of eagles living on the property! Every day brings new discoveries, watching across the Sound to the ships heading out to sea, seasons in the garden, or crossing the incredible Deception Pass bridge on the North end of the Island. Come see for yourself!

We hope to both be retired by the end of the year, and a move to Whidbey is in our future after some belated travel. We loved Villa Luna the first time we visited, and bought it in a heartbeat! Our trips to the Island are the highlight of our very difficult-to-come-by free time these days, although there are always long lists of things to do at the villa, in order to keep it in good repair. It will be refreshing to some day have unlimited time to enjoy being there - meantime, we love sharing it with others. Everyone who has ever stayed has fallen in love with it.

We had a wonderful weekend at this house. We had several adults and kids of various ages, the views are amazing we could see downtown Seattle and MT Rainier, the gardens were fun, we could go on little walks with little secret spots and never leave the property, well located as well, I would absolutely go back , we wished we could have stayed longer!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We loved it. It is like a trip in time back to Tuscany with an awesome view, fabulous gardens, waterfalls and supreme privacy!
