From 6,000 feet, one can marvel at powder skiers at the top of Rendezvous mountain on a winter morning and spectacular sweeping views of the valley and the Bridger Teton National Forest from the 10 foot living room windows. The entrance to Grand Teton National Park is one mile from the front door, Yellowstone is one hour away and the town of Jackson is a beautiful 15 minute drive. Fine dining is a brief five minute walk to the Four Seasons Resort and the restaurants at Teton Village. For the outdoor lover, golfing, hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, whitewater rafting and wildlife sightings are within minutes of the house. For the spa lover, wellness treatments are available at the Four Seasons and Snake River Resort. Wintertime fun like cross country skiing, downhill skiing and dog sled excursions are five minutes away at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
The property is finely appointed in a Western motif with Stickley furnishings. A six person hot tub sits on the lower patio and a gas grill and furniture for alpine dining on the upper deck. A wood burning fireplace, well equipped kitchen with granite counters and hardwood floors complete the open main floor. There is dining for six and a breakfast bar for two under the 16 foot vaulted ceiling. The upstairs entertainment center has cable TV, DVD, wireless internet, binoculars and a telescope.
The lower floor has two suites. The master suite has a queen bed with private bathroom suite including double vanities, soaking tub for two, steam shower, spacious closet and sitting area with cable TV and DVD. The second suite has twin beds which convert to a king and a private bathroom including double vanities, tile shower and tub, spacious closet and cable TV. There is a laundry room with full size washer and dryer. A one car garage is included. Snow removal occurs daily in the winter and split logs are stacked on the front of the cabin year round.
