A wonderful time! While relaxing and fishing off the pier, we saw a manatee swim by! The home was in the perfect location for the free trolley restaurants, ice cream trips, the beach and for exploring this beautiful island. Your hospitality was greatly appreciated (we had a few questions about the island) . Our family is looking forward to returning...soon! the house is new. the easy check in was a keyless entry

Your island house is at the top of my family's list for great places to stay. It is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and the kitchen was organized & fully equipped for easy family style cooking. We all appreciated the clean bedding and towels upon our arrival after a long tiresome day of travel. What you see in the listing is what you get & so much more!

We could not have stayed at a nicer house - it was beautiful and everything was just as it looked in the pictures and so much more - we had the best time. I would highly recommend a stay here and we will be back on our next vacation - we loved it! Suzann, the owner, is so wonderful and very helpful - we had never rented on homeaway.com before - but because of Suzann and her beautiful house - we had a fabulous vacation!

What you see and read is what you will receive if you rent this home! This is on the list of one of our top vacations and rental properties. We rented this home for a high school graduation gift and vacaton for ourselves. This location is great for any age. The high school graduate asked if we could book this for every year from now on. It is centrally located and the home is beautiful. The home is stocked with everything you will need to spend a day at the beach or hang out at the pool. We look forward to another visit real soon. Suzann was very helpful in answering all of our questions prior to renting. Thank you for the GREAT vacation!!!

The house is brand new. Every room was thoughtfully decorated beach-chic at its best. If you tire of the pool, the beach is 75 yards away. I grew up in the area and have never seen such a beautiful and comfortable beach house. Old Florida at its best, unspoiled with blue-green water, sand dunes, and Australian pines. Shopping nearby on Pine street was wonderful. We walked to the Beach Bistro which is an outstanding restaurant on the beach. Zagat rated. Our hostess, Suzann was a delight to work with. Very timely, professional, and always available to answer a question or make a suggestion. Also, important to me, our security deposit was returned quickly. We will certainly come back again.

My fiance and I had a wonderful stay in this vacation home. This was our first time in Anna Maria and the first time we have ever rented a house for a vacation. We spent a huge amount of time researching homes in the area and the few motel/resorts in the area and kept coming back to this home due to its cheerful, modern appearance. Needless to say we were somewhat nervous until we actually saw the home first hand. We had nothing to worry about as the home turned out to be even nicer than the pictures. The house was beautifully decorated and practically brand new. It had a very open and bright feel with beautiful lighting throughout the home. A lot of time seemed to be spent in the decoration of the home, right down to the small details. We loved the modern kitchen! Some of my favorite times during my vacation were spent sitting outside reading on the lanai while listening and watching the different kinds of birds flying about. The beach was gorgeous in this area and a very short walk from the home with no street to cross - we swam everyday in the gulf! I feel we really lucked out in the actual location of the home as we almost picked a condo in the bradenton beach area of anna maria island. While bradenton beach is nice, I much preferred the more upscale and quiet atmosphere of this part of the island. We mainly relaxed and explored the island but there were many different water activities nearby. I absolutely loved all of the unique restaurants on the island, we tried something different every night. I think my favorites were the City Pier and Rod and Reel Pier. We saw dolphins while eating at the City Pier! We really had a great time on the island and I believe the home was what really set the tone for our full vacation. The owner of the home, Suzann, was informative and kept me up to date throughout the whole rental process. Our security deposit was returned very promptly. I am hoping we can return to the island again next year and rent this home. I would definitely recommend this home and hope that this review was helpful to others as I know how difficult it can be navigating through all of the different properties!

This property is listed as a Tropical Paradise with a Fantastic Gulf View - it is all that and more. The house is beautifully and uniqurely furnished and very comfortable. The color scheme is bright and cheerful and makes you feel good before you even step outside - and when you do - Mother Nature has been very very good to Anna Maria Island - what a beautiful location! The pool is also very refreshing after returning from a long, tough day at the beach! This is an excellent rental choice, extremely convenient to the beach and the surrounding neighborhood is great for walking, biking etc. Suzann was also a very gracious hostess and very accomodating. Couldn't ask for more.

This is truly a piece of paradise! We liked Holmes Beach and Anna Maria Island better than other islands in the Tampa area. It was laid back and not quite so commercial. Sarasota was an 10 min. trip to some really nice shopping. We were overwhelmed with the cleanliness and comfort. The House was what we expected and more. Sometimes you get fooled by internet pictures. It was immaculate and bright which made us feel at home perfect for us. We had beach chairs, towels, boogie boards all the kids could want. The grounds were beautiful.

Brand new house (we had to be one of the first to rent!) with all modern-high class fixtures from the engraved doorstep to the electronics. The 2nd story balcony is perfect for sunset! Location is ideal: make a right to walk to the beach and a left to walk to the free trolley... Both literally steps from the doorstep without even crossing a street! Pool is a perfect end of the day! We'll be back next year (or sooner)

Thank you for sharing your fabulous home with us, we had a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The area is so quiet and we really enjoyed the lovely view from your balcony. Having the beach so close, a 1 minute walk away, was the best! You have thought of ever thing. I forgot to pack my apron and you even had that. Truley a home away from home".

The owners have thought of every possible need that you could have to make your vacation enjoyable. We have stayed here during our last two visits to Anna Maria and have enjoyed our stay each time. The house is very clean, and has every imaginable item you could possibly need, a beautiful kitchen, beach towels and chairs. The house is spacious, a split bedrooms plan great for 2 couples, the beds are very comfortable and the walk-in closet is an unexpected feature. The washer and dryer make vacationing easy. If you need or want to work during vacation, a printer and wireless access is available. The house has a large Private tree shaded lanai , perfect for morning coffee and reading the paper. The house located near the free trolley line which allows for easy access to nearby restaurants, and shopping . The island is great for morning walks and has a well-kept pool. it is located steps to beach no street to cross to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets.we will be sad to leave. Definitely one of the best places we have rented.

Our stay at Anna Maria Beach cottage was a week of old, unspoiled Florida bliss! The cottage is decorated with artistic flair that is true to the true style of the "50's". A very short walk to the beach and we were greeted by a peaceful seascape, not cluttered with condos. Beautiful clean white sand, clear sparkling water and beautful sunrises, days and sunsets. Close at hand are many fine places to dine, with one in particular being a world class restaurant as rated by Zagat. Best of all the cottage is immaculately clean and everything maintained well. However, if help is needed, the owners are readily available and happy to assist. We give it 5 stars and will go back as often as we can.

I highly recommend this vacation spot . We spent a week there in February, 2010 and it was awesome. Roomy, sunny, bright, steps to the trolly and to the beach, we had two different decks to on which dine - it has everything you could possibly want or need. !The house provides plenty of privacy for two couples vacationing together. Anna Maria Island is a quiet place, but you can find everything from a world class restaurant to beach bars , water sports, sunset cruises, shopping and culture. the Beach Bistro is a short walk down the beach and was elegant (right on the beach). The free Anna Maria Island shuttle bus stops right on the corner (at the end of the block) and runs by every 20 mins. The “77th st beach club “ was a nice place to relax out of the sun and watch the kids in the water.
