WELCOME
Morningside on Pelican is a cozy 3 bedroom (sleeps 8), 1 bath cabin on Pelican Lake featuring 140 feet of sandy beach on a 2-acre wooded lot. A separate Guest House includes a 2nd bath and recreation room. It is located on the northeast side of the lake where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets.
PELICAN LAKE
Pelican Lake is one of the top 10 cleanest lakes in the United States with water clarity close to 20 feet. Play along Morningside's 140 feet of sugar sand beach or swim in the water where the lake bottom has no weeds and a very gradual depth. Pelican Lake, one of forty lakes within a 30 mile radius, is one of areas best walleye fishing lakes. While Pelican Lake is a large lake offering many opportunities to explore, it is a quiet lake with not a lot of boat traffic. Breezy Point is just a boat ride away and offers a restaurant, bar, and a marina.
CABIN
Morningside on Pelican has full kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and cooking utensils. The dining room has a table that seats 8, and there is a small breakfast bar too. The three bedrooms include a master suite with a queen-size bed and a deck overlooking the lake, a second also with a queen-size bed, and the third has two sets of bunk beds. The living room has a breathtaking view of the lake. You can enjoy your morning coffee or evening meal in our screened in gazebo. The cabin is located on a quiet dead end road with very little traffic or noise.

Year Purchased: 2005
We vacationed in the Brainerd Lakes area for many years, often times on Pelican Lake. While looking for a cabin to purchase, Pelican Lake set our standard. We were fortunate to purchase the cabin in 2005. Our family enjoys the cabin year round. With the sandy shore and gradual lake depth, it is perfect for a family!
Why the Owner Chose Brainerd
Our plan is to make this our retirement home.
