This a beautiful three bedroom true log cabin in the heart of the Mountain Village. It is associated with the Peaks Resort (across the street) and entitles the occupant to all the amenities of the resort. The Peaks resort is home to a beautiful Golden Door Spa. It has indoor/outdoor swimming, hot tub, ski valet, ski rentals, golf, state of the art work-out facility, restaurants and more. You can ski from the peaks or it is a level walk to the Gondola Station.
It has a beautiful view from the great room and deck. Great room is open to the kitchen. Great room has Bose sound system. Kitchen is beautiful with granite counter tops, sub-zero refrigerator, etc. Each bedroom is on a different level ensuring privacy. There is also a fold-out queen bed in the couch in the great room.
You can ride the gondola free over the mountain and down to the town of Telluride. What a great public transportation system! You don't need a car to go to town and back. The town of Telluride is like going back in time. It still looks like a turn of the century mining town. Telluride is literally the end of the road, located in a beautiful box canyon. There is shopping, art galleries, quaint coffee shops and a wonderful selection of restaurants.
