Our condo is great for families, groups of friends, or a honeymoon getaway. This is your best choice for a spectacular vacation get-away on the most beautiful beaches in America.
PENTHOUSE FEATURES: Our spacious penthouse has breathtaking views of the bay from the balcony porch and master bedroom. Only at our penthouse will you have a spiral staircase from the porch up to the top deck. Get the best sun exposure for sun-bathing or relish in the amazing views up top only the penthouse can provide. Okaloosa Island is only 200 yards from sand to sand, beach to bay. You can see the beautiful Emerald Coast and inner coastal waterway for miles and miles.
RESORT AMENITIES: Destin West Beach and Bay resort is a new, 2005, top notch condo complex on beautiful Okaloosa Island. This pool haven includes a 700 foot lazy river that encircles the spectacular pool area which includes two large hot tubs, a heated pool and waterfall, and a gradual decline pool for small children. Palm trees and lush landscaping cover this oasis of fun and beauty. There are also two charcoal grills in the grassy backyard filled with palm trees overlooking the calming waters of the bay. You will also have access to the Beach side which includes amenities such as a 5000 square foot pool, hot tub, kiddy pool, kiddy water playground, and an amazing fitness center. A walk-over to the beach is to be completed by April.
LOCATION: The best spot on the Panhandle! Okaloosa Island connects Destin and Fort Walton Beach. Our condo is 4 miles from Destin and 1 mile from Fort Walton Beach. Destin West is also next to 4 miles of beach and bay front property that is completely undeveloped and is a natural coastline which means fewer people and more privacy for you!! The location also offers the convenience of beachfront restaurants, stores, a fishing pier and boardwalk, volleyball, The Gulfarium, The Emerald Coast Conference Center, mini-golf, water sports and more!
SLEEPING: Our master bedroom includes a king bed, TV, full bath, Jacuzzi tub, large closet. Our guest bedroom includes a queen bed, TV, full bath, closet. Our children’s bunk room (larger than other bunks in the complex) includes a TV and closet. We also have a queen pull-out couch and extra pillows and blankets.
OTHER ACTIVITIES: Other activities include deep-sea fishing, surfing, bike and jogging trails, boat launch, jet-skiing, snorkeling, diving, dolphin cruises, parasailing, kite-boarding, bowling, factory outlet mall, water Parks, sail boating, go-carting, theatres, etc.

This is a beautiful condo....it is better in person than the photos even show......the resort is amazing.....the pools are great, it is great that we were able to use the Ramada kids splash area and pool/bar as well. The roof top patio was lovely, we put the kids to bed and went up there to enjoy the beautiful view with a glass of wine. The dishwasher and ice maker were not working when we arrived, but one call and the maintenace person came out immediately and got it all working. I loved the bridge to walk over to the beach....I would definietly recommend this property and this condo, we had an amazing expereince and none of us wanted to leave.....We were very close to the Harbor Village and Gulfarium which had a lot of activities for families.....Thank you so much!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Hi, just a note to say "Thanks." We loved staying in your condo on Okaloosa Island, it was very nice and cozy. I have to admit, we spent most of the time either in the lazy river or on the beach. 11/20 - 11/27 Loved your beautiful, brand new fresh condo!! We had a very Happy Thanksgiving week here in South Fort Walton!! Everybody loved the condo!!
