Stunning 2 bedroom, 2 bath luxury apartment, a stone's throw from the Place des Vosges! Gorgeous 800 square foot two-bedroom, two-bathroom home that has been exquisitely remodeled to comfortably accommodate five people. Special features include two balconies, one off the master bedroom and a longer one off the living room that features a bistro table and two chairs for dining al fresco on warm evenings. And the views are uncommon too. Because of the building’s corner location at the end of a charming ‘hidden’ street, like a cul-de-sac, Sauternes’ building is set further back than most buildings, so the views of the beautiful Haussmanian building across the street are more open. We immediately named the apartment Sauternes, after the sweet white dessert wine produced in the Bordeaux wine-making area of France.
Walk into the richly appointed dining room/kitchen of our Paris vacation rental which also features a beautifully refinished oak parquet floor. This large room has a long dining table of dark wood and sandblasted glass, which seats up to eight people on leather chairs. On the right side of this room is the thoroughly modern kitchen with a long, dark gray worktop, blond wood cabinets, and stainless steel fixtures and appliances. The upper cabinet doors are made of glass and, when lit at night with the beautiful chandelier above the dining table, the effect is dramatic. Adding to this Paris vacation rental impressive décor is an oversize fresco from Italy framed by two rabbit wall hooks on one side of the room, and an antique round window frame mirror opposite. Two large French windows open out to create a feeling of light and space as well as absolutely charming views of the beautiful building across the street. You can’t find such a beautiful and intimate setting like this in most Paris vacation rentals.
The kitchen is fully outfitted so you can prepare lavish meals. Find a full-size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, convection oven, separate microwave, four-burner stove, toaster, coffee maker, and all of the pots, pans, and utensils you’ll need.
From the dining room walk left into the cozy Paris vacation rental living room. Since this is a rare corner building, the living room boasts three sets of French doors that open out to charming views of the old street. And it features a small balcony with a bistro table and chairs so that you can sit out and toast your stay with a glass of wine in the evening or enjoy your café au lait on sunny mornings. Our Paris vacation rental offers the advantage of air conditioning, with two large portable units that vent to the outside of the apartment. This is rare and a real plus on those warm days in Paris over most other Paris vacation rentals.
The living room is decorated in a soft and sunny Provencal style, with a yellow sofa accented with pretty yellow check cushions. The comfortably upholstered armchairs covered in a Scottish beige and yellow wool plaid fabric that complements the beige and yellow striped curtains. The original gray and pink marble fireplace is on the left, and a coffee table rests on the polished oak parquet floor. There is a flat-screen TV with a dual-standard DVD player so you can bring your favorite movies from home; a CD stereo to enjoy your favorite music. We’ve also included free Internet access so you can catch up on your emails. What is special about the living room in our Paris vacation rental are the three sets of French doors which give a superb feeling of light in the living room. Open the French doors and step out on the balcony to get your first glimpse of Paris! There is a small bistro table and two chairs so you can relax here with your café au lait in the morning or a glass of wine at sunset.
Proceed through the door next to the sofa into the master bedroom or access the bedroom through the en-suite bathroom off of the entryway. This charming bedroom features a second balcony, very rare in Paris vacation rentals. Step out and enjoy the views down this small Parisian street or sit out and read on warm afternoons. The bedroom has an extra wide queen-size bed with a Provencal headboard and two antique bedside tables. A beautiful antique armoire is on your left and facing the bed is a large marble fireplace. The fireplace has the original oversize white-framed mirror and ceilings fine crown molding. To the left of the fireplace is an antique-style painting of Victorian and to the right is a smaller painting of Victorian women going for a stroll. A beautiful crystal chandelier completes the room.
All of our mattresses are the best quality luxury mattresses, the same as those used in most luxury hotels in Paris.
The master bathroom features a bathtub/shower combination, porcelain sink, and toilet. Like all of our Paris vacation rentals, you’ll find plenty of plush white towels.
From the entryway, head right past the closet closet with clothes washer and separate dryer and enter the second bathroom of our Paris vacation rental with a large shower, toilet, and sink. The Sauternes Paris vacation rental bathroom is decorated in beige tile with small beige mosaics running horizontally, and the chocolate brown floor tiles are a nice contrast. The water tank holds 80 gallons the largest we could find.
Step into the second bedroom of our Paris vacation rental to find two single beds and a charming country décor. The Italian fresco headboards of angels grace this room with shades of blue, and the cotton striped curtains in periwinkle blue match the lampshades. A small desk sits on the left with oval antique white mirror above.

I was an American banker in London and met my husband Philippe, who was a cardiac surgeon in Paris. When we bought our first Paris apartment, our friends and family loved staying there for the fantastic location and views -- walking distance to cafe's, landmarks and wonderful shops. They loved the experience of living like a Parisian, shopping in the nearby open air markets for the freshest foods, buying warm baguettes next door, enjoying cafe' au lait on the balcony, eating at affordable brasseries and restaurants that Parisians go to around the corner. They asked if they could rent our pied a' terre when we were away and our Paris apartment rentals business, www.Parisperfect.com, began! Philippe left medicine for business and we commute between London and Paris on the Eurostar and have two great children who are French and American citizens... and who always correct my French grammar!
