The 12-acre grounds and gardens are expansive with lush tropical flowers. The freshwater lagoons have koi swimming under bridges for your enjoyment. Choose from three lighted tennis courts, two 12-hole putting greens, and two oceanfront shuffleboard courts, or swim in one of two pools and relax in the spa. Maybe do a yoga class or barbecue that evening.
The bedroom has a new king-size bed/mattress and the unit accommodates four comfortably with the addition of a newly installed queen-size Murphy bed. The unit has air conditioning and ceiling fans in every room. The kitchen is fully remodeled and equipped. You are provided an initial supply of hand and dishwashing soap, paper towels, tissues, and toilet paper. Linens and towels are provided. The unit has satellite television, so you won't miss your favorite show or sports event.
If you can tear yourself away from the resort there is the world-famous Kaananpali golf courses, or shopping in Lahaina.

Susan, thank you for a simple booking experience and access to your wonderful condo all at a great rate! We were married in Maui 6 years ago and have since stayed at Papakea several times and this was one of our favorite units. It was well equipped with absolutely everything we needed including a bonus of putters for putt putt golf and boogie boards for riding the waves. Beds were super comfy and kitchen had everything we needed to BBQ at the pool and enjoy meals on the Lanai. We frequented the Farmers Market, Dukes Beach Bar & Grill and loved the beach boardwalk for exercising in the mornings. Papakea is our absolute favorite and we look forward to coming back and would love to rent this unit again. Thank you!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Susan. Thank you so much for sharing your paradise with us! We had such a good time. Spent a lot of time snorkeling at Honolua Bay alot of mornings from 6:30 to 8:30 am. What a gem that is. I sure hope they keep protecting it. WOW! Your facilities were awesome for us. Everything worked out good. My husband and stayed in this condo from March 7 - 14, 2010. We couldn't have been happier! The location is very convenient to parking, the office, the ABC store next door - - everything. Despite being close to everything, we never heard any type of noise except crashing waves, wind through the palms and the fountains in the beautiful koi ponds. The views from the lanai across the meticulously groomed tropical gardens to the ocean are so relaxing and beautiful. Although we were at the back of the oceanfront complex, we could still see lots of whale action from the lanai, and even from the sofa! The condo was "white-glove" clean. I couldn't find a speck of dust or dirt anywhere, and, showing the incredible attention to detail, the kitchen utensils in the drawers were even lined up like little soldiers. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable and everything is in great condition. The murphy bed in the living area is a great feature - - so comfy and convenient. We also appreciated the coolers, boogie boards and other beach equipment available for our use. The new, full-size washer and dryer worked perfectly and were quiet, too. I can't say enough about the comfort and convenience of this condo and we can't wait to get back to "our" Papakea condo again.
