  • we really enjoyed our stay at trudy's condo at lake tahoe. our kids loved the condo and kept saying that it felt just like being at home! the condo was close to all the winter activities that we wanted to go to as well as restaurants and grocery stores (like safeway!). our kids said it was the best tahoe trip ever!! we hope to stay at trudy's condo again! thank you trudy!

  • Thank you Trudy, this is a lovely place you have! Condo is very cozy, clean and well organized. Bed is very comfortable (even my husband noticed that!). It also has very convenient location: walk to the lifts, short drive to the restaurants and great views. Kids had lots of fun skiing as well as playing ping pong at Tahoe Donner club. We all enjoyed our short vacation and definitely will come back next winter. Thank you Trudy!

In addition to being impeccably clean, the place is decorated with taste you typically get from interior designers. A rare gem in vacation rentals. Good vibrations!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Tahoe-Donner rental. The decor with hardwood floors, concrete counter-tops, state of the art appliances, etc. was better than expected. This unit is perfect for 2 - 4 people, and is clean, comfortable and cozy.

  • Everything about this chalet is perfect, the bed is comfortable, everything feels modern and new, yet cozy, comfortable, and clean, it's literally right on the ski hill, and the price is perfect. Our family of four couldn't have been happier (5 yr old and 2 year old girls). We loved relaxing in front of the crackling fire, sipping hot cocoa on the back porch, walking to the ski hill, swimming at the nearby Recreation Center with it's heated pool and fabulous jacuzzi's, and exploring adorable down town Truckee. Lunch at the eclectic "Squeezed In" was delicious and a unique, must-try dining experience. We'll definitely be back. A perfect place to stay while our daughter's learn to ski. Five stars!!!!   • The first thing that is striking upon entering the front door of the Chalet is the incredible cleanliness. Having traveled a lot, it means so much to be able to stay in a beautifully appointed and pristine environment. In addition, there are plenty of cleaning supplies to make sure that the Chalet is kept clean. Concrete countertops, Wine Cooler, several different heaters in the living space, all created a warm and elegant experience. I would absolutely recommend the Donner Chalet. It is also very "kid friendly" with a game box filled with all kinds of games and decks of cards. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

  • We stayed at the Donner Chalet for our wedding anniversary weekend and it really met our expectations in every way. It was a cosy, nicely decorated condo with a nice view and very close to the ski area. We brought our 2 small kids (age 4 and 1) and the condo was big enough to accommodate all 4 of us. My daughter did ski school for the first time and loved it. It was a really memorable weekend and we would definitely consider coming back. Thanks Trudy!

As a single mom looking for an affordable last minute escape to the mountains, I truly appreciate your offering your condo in the Tahoe/Donner area. We had the best time! We skied at night, took a lesson, swam in the spa, played fuze ball and ping-pong, went to "trivia night" at the pizza place, and splurged on the most excellent dinner at "The Lodge" restaurant. All in two days! The only hard part was having to come home so soon :( But, we'll be back! Thanks again, ~ Jaspen & Cedar

  • We truly enjoyed our time (01/2009) at this lovely condo. We have two young children aged 6 and 4. While this condo is just a few steps from Tohoe Donner Ski lifts, it offers incomparable convenience for us. This is our best ski vacation ever!
