The condo was excellent due the the views, home feeling, and easy access. It was very clean upon entering and there were no problems while we were there (10 day stay). The cleaning ladies brought us extra towels even though we didn't need any, but they were very pleasant also. It is a great location to everything on Maui and the pool and beach were also great draws to this condo. I would rate this place an A+.

We've stayed at Polynesian Shores three times now and will return for many more, we hope. It has everything you need (actually more than we need), in a great location -- away from the hustle-bustle of Lahaina and Kaanapali, on the edge of the glitz of Kapalua, but within easy striking distance of both. We take a morning walk on the Kapalua trail, then snorkel at Kapalua beach, Kahekili beach, or Honolua beach, all excellent and close. Then we come back to watch the numerous turtles munching on the rocks in front of our condo. There are several good, inexpensive restaurants nearby.

We just got back from our vacation in Maui. I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed your unit. We have never stayed right on the ocean before and it was a real treat for us. Hearing the ocean as we fell asleep was so calming. Eating meals out on the deck at breakfast and dinner at sunset was awesome. Your location is top notch and a very convenient part of the island. If we ever get back to Maui we would definitely like to stay there again. Thank you for working with me to help fit your rates within my budget.

There is no better place to take in the ALOHA vibe that Lahaina has to offer. The location is superb, you are right on the ocean with views that will literally take away any and all stresses. The rooms are great with everything you could possibly need to feel at home. The pool is awesome, sits right by the units edging the cliff of the ocean.... with grills to cook out!

he location was ideal. Beautiful ocean front condominium. Very nice! Quiet, yet close to the old town of Lahaina. Old town is on the ocean front and very nostalgic. Neat little shops and ocean front dining. It's just a little north of Kaanapali Beach which is another FUN area. There is even a shopping center on the beach with a restaurant that over looks the water and a beautiful walking path along the ocean along that area. Really a beautiful, romantic place to go with your loved ones. Wonderful tranquility.

The view is just fabulous! The condo is very well appointed with nice island style furnishings. Beautiful granite kitchen. The location is great, close to everything. A great turtle show daily on the beach. Great snorkeling! This is paradise! Owner provided packet with helpful information for restaurants, shopping, etc. We will be back.

We stayed at the Polynesian Shores and it was fabulous. We rented this unit through VRBO and the price was very reasonable. The view from this corner unit is nothing but spectacular. The resort is located in Kahana and accessible to so much on the west side of Maui. The pool area is small but adequate and the entire property is very clean and well appointed. Our unit was nicely decorated and had everything you could want in the kitchen. Beach chairs, mats, umbrellas and towels are in the unit and the lanai in this unit has wonderful, comfortable furniture. There is also a parking spot that goes w/the rental and that is a must in this area! There is also high speed internet available in the unit. There are 2 BRs in these condos and they are spacious. T The front BR has a fabulous view but you are right there on the water and it can be loud at night if you have the windows open. We loved it!! . The back bedroom has a nice view as well and it is a bit quieter. Lots of wonderful beaches nearby and fabulous restaurants very close. Our favorite dinner spot was Merrimans and it is just down the road from Hololani on the water-expensive but worth it and an absolutely beautiful place to watch the sunset! We can't wait to go back to Maui and we will stay in this same unit at PolyShores

One of the best features is the feeling that you are not in a mega resort, it's a smaller property and the managers are wonderful. Every room has an ocean view and just a few feet from the ocean you can always hear the waves. The only drawback is no beach but it is a 5-10 minute drive to some great beaches. You can sit by the pool grilling steaks, see the turtles swimming and watch the sunset. I would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed for 10 days In April/May 2011. It was a beautiful property. We were in a one bedroom ocean front and was a very clean and well decorated unit. We had the ocean as our backyard from our lanai and spent much of our vacation just sitting there and enjoying the beautiful sunsets, sea turtles (Honu) and even could see the occasional whales off in the disance near Molokai. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay and a wonderful value for the price we paid.

I and my spouse stayed the end of February through early March 2011. The condo was very comfortable with the bed in particular being very comfortable. The kitchen was totally equipped and the living just a good place to hang out. Our Lanai had, I must say, the best view of the ocean. Several times I was on my cell with one of our friends or kids and had to stop to say "oh my gosh a whale just breached"! Every single day we saw a minimum of 10 sea turtles. They are fun to watch coming in the waves!. Thank you Greg! We left our "Santa Hat" there for future folks to get their Christmas picture! :0)

Polynesian Shores was perfect for our family. Uncrowded, clean, and quiet with a small beach just next door. We loved watching the sunsets from our oceanfront lanai, and picking bananas in the morning for our breakfast. The Noelani is for those looking for a peaceful homebase during their vacation, and not for those looking for a full-scale resort. We can't wait for our Maui vacation this year!

The grounds are perfectly kept! The view of the ocean is quite lovely at any time of day. The sunsets are incredible. There are large turtles right in the bay all day long! We saw dolphins swimming by one morning. There is a pool and BBQ grill. There are laundry facilities on the grounds. Very close to some good restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked. All furniture was nice. Would not recommend for children. Best for couples or adult friends. We will return.

Greg: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Maui at your property. Views are outstanding--clear views across the Lanai and Molakai. Only 100 feet from condo to beach and a great deck with 5 grills for cooking. Minutes to Lahaina and some excellent restaurants. Breakfast at The Gazebo is "on the water". My only concern, before arriving, was lack of a/c but you were correct---you do not need it. Night-time trade winds require a cover and sleeping is great. Turtles at beach are great to watch and swim beside. Plan to return asap and would recommend this unit to anyone. Bob and Phyllis H. Marietta, Ga.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The view is incredible and the lovely courtyard down to the pool and ocean is alive with the sound of birds chirping in the trees. I loved sitting outside with my coffee in the morning, and walking down to the sea in the evening to watch the turtles poke up their heads. Nice to have the washer/dryer on the property, lawn chairs, cooler, beach towels, etc, etc. Great to spread out in a condo instead of the constraints of a hotel room and this was certainly a great value. Mahalo! We drove all over the island...Road to Hana, Haleakala Crater, Big Beach. Ate some great fish at I'O in Lahaina and enjoyed the show at the Old Lahaina Luau. I love Maui!

When you decide to go to a place unfamiliar to you, you are never sure what you are going to get. Hawaii had been a dream trip and this condo completed this dream by being a place to stay that leaves you wanting to stay forever. The unit was beyond awesome and the grounds and pool area were pristine. When you take photos of your trip and the place you are staying are in the photos, it becomes a large part of your memories. We plan on making this a yearly trip.

I stayed in this condo for 5 nights last week and they were just terrific. Great location (near the Kanapali beaches), great price, nice pool, and beautiful and clean room. I stayed in a 1 bedroom right on the pool level but it wasn't noisy at all and had a privacy bush in front of the lanai (but we could still see the ocean and watch sunsets). The room itself was clean, had a fully stocked kitchen, no air conditioning but it worked out OK for us with the fans and windows open (there are good bug screens). I didn't go snorkeling but I understand there was good snorkeling right off the property and saw some turtles from the pool deck! I would highly recommend this place to any friends and family looking for a nice place at a great price.

Just want to say we had a wonderful time at your place. I don't know if your computer will open these pics but most were taken on your property. 1st day was a double rainbow and last night was the sunset. Probably the most memorable week we've had as a family. Dinners in Lahaina & Kaanapali , days at Big Beach, Napili and your beach. We stayed at the Mahanna a few years back and Polynesian Shores 113 was by far more fun. Your beach is much nicer than you claim! Thanks again Vicki

his place was just wonderful. Every condo has such a beautiful view. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. We stayed here from 3/24/08-4/1/08 The sunsets are indeed some of the best I have ever seen in my life. We saw whales jumping every day right from our lanai. Our condo was very clean and stocked with...

The photographs and words on this website are an understatement. They do not do justice to the real thing. This condo is absolutely amazing and the view - fabulous. I was really cynical about renting through the web, I was sure Greg was filtering the negative comments and I was setting myself up for a vacation from hell. I searched everywhere to find 1 negative comment, but nothing. Lo and behold, when I opened the door to the condo, I was shocked at the cleanliness and comfort of the condo. This trip was the celebration of my parent’s 65-birthdays so I wanted to make it something to remember, but I also wanted to make sure that the 3 grandkids were taken care of. THIS WAS JUST FABULOUS. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean and so were the bathrooms. YOU HAD EVERYTHING YOU COULD USE AND MORE. The kitchen was very well equipped, we had planned to cook at the condo our entire trip, we had access to the farmer’s market, a 10-minute walk from the condo and we had all the utensils we could use and more. BEST PART – washer and drier!!!Being on California time, we were up by 7am and would do yoga while sitting on the beautiful lawn facing the ocean. Our neighbors were just great, very friendly. We met so many new and nice people who stopped by the condo or while we were at the pool. Breakfast would always be outside on the lanai with whales frolicking on the horizon and turtles playing just feet away. The SUNSETS….outstanding. Great beaches are just minutes away – Napili and Kanapaali are ones recommended and we loved. If you want to enjoy Maui, this is the place the stay. No stress, clean and very comfortable. I would recommend them any day and would stay at this and other condos owned by Greg Salmon any day.THANKS A TONNE GREG!!!
