My wife and I stayed at this condo for a week in February before we debarked on an South America cruise. The owner was very helpful in answering our questions and pointing us in the right direction during our stay. The location of the condo was convienant to everything, and we could walk to a lot of the sightseeing areas of interest. The condo was very clean and provided us with all the amenities we were looking for. This was a much better option than a hotel room at twice the price. I would recommend this condo to any couple that is looking for a nice clean condo that is located in a very central location of Buenos Aires. We thoughly enjoyed our time in Buenos Aires using this condo as our home base.

My husband and I found Max's apt to be just right for our 4 1/2 day stay in BA. The location is terrific, with the grocery store, pharmacy, bank, and transportation close by. After we'd been in Salta for a week before our arrival to BA, we welcomed the washing machine in the apt! Max met us on arrival which was really great and gave us a summary of what was in our neighborhood. We were much happier in this location than where we stayed on a previous trip to BA (Palermo). Also, if the Teatro Colon is in season when you are there, try to go. It's a wonderful experience and an absolutely beautiful theatre. We would certainly rent this apt again. Max provided excellent service at a reasonable price.

For the two of us, this apartment on the busier side of the Recoleta (right near Av. Santa Fe) was really lovely. The furnishings were comfortable and modern and the TV, Wi-fi and other amenities were first rate. Max was there to greet us on our early morning arrival and also helped us arrange our transport back to the airport. The supermarket and other great food shops are very close by as is the Subte from which we got virtually everywhere we wanted to go in the city. I would certainly recommend this property to friends.

Great spot, Very quiet. Very close to supermarket and main street to catch a cab. Walls are a little thin so can here people walking on floor above but that was only mid morning for a brief time. We would definitely stay there again. Max is very friendly and will do anything he can to accommodate your needs. Thanks again Max.

We were just in Buenos Aires for 10 days for the first time. The apartment was perfect for us for exploring the city, mostly by foot once we learned our way around. Max was much more than helpful. He is delightful & the apartment had everything we needed, plus more as coffee & tea, soap for bath as well as dishes & washing maching were supplied. Usually we have to purchase all out own when we have rented & it was a grand surprise. Max was there to greet us when we arrived & was a wealth of information.

I stayed in the apartment for seven weeks, and it is definately an "A Plus." The unit is in perfect condition with everything in working order and in a very well maintained building. All descriptions, amenities, and photos in the web site are totally accurate. Max,the owner, was readily available with answers to any questions I had.It was evident that he took great pride in his property. The apartment's location is in wonderful location, close to public transportation and within easy walking distance of many sights, restaurants, and shops. It is in a real neighborhood with bakeries, coffee shops, grocery stores, and newstands on the block, all adding to making one's stay an authentic Buenos Aires experience. I could not give the apartment a higher rating and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I was travelling with my wife and 20 month old son; we had a great time in BA. The location was superb, close to many amenities including the Recoleta Cemetery. Supermarket less than a block away, liquor store as well, a 1 block walk to the subway. The amenities are exactly as Max indicates and we were very comfortable in the apt. The apt was very clean and well stocked, Max, the owner, was very helpful in answering all of our questions and was great in getting us settled in. He met us at the apt when our flight arrived and was outstanding. We highly recommend this apt in BA. We stayed for 1 night, down the street in a 4 star hotel on our way home and compared to Max’s condo it was a disappointment. The next time we are in BA we will definitely be staying at one of Max’s apt. The cafe on the corner was very friendly and the food was very good and Maestros Pizza 3 blocks away has excellent pizza. Over all it was a great way to start our Argentina adventure. We could not have asked for more.

A nice modern little apartment conveniently located in Buenos Aires. The pictures in the listing are accurate. The owner was there to greet me at the agreed upon time, and was easy to get a hold of, and speaks good English. A nice feature was that he accepted Paypal, and didn't require a damage deposit (a lot of Buenos Aires places seem to want you to bring large sums of US cash for a damage deposit, which can be tricky if you're not arriving straight from home).

The listing description was accurate re location, appearance and comfortable amenities (bed, bathroom, kitchen). The balcony overlooking the courtyard was great for sipping late afternoon drinks and snacks. Taxis passing front door are easy to flag (use small bills to be safe - we had no problems) or a 5 minute walk to the subway on Ave. Santa Fe at Pueyrredon (stop in Havanna Cafe just past Azucuenaga for coffee). Big supermarket 1/2 block away on Uriburu for food/wine/liquor (takes credit cards). Two minutes further are Los Maestros for delicious pizzas and pastas and its neighbor La Querencia for regional specialties, both at the Uriburu/Juncal/ intersection, 1-1/2 blocks from apartment. Oviedo, BA's best seafood restaurant at 2602 Beruti is high priced but worth it. Summertime in BA is hot and the air-conditioning was excellent. Max, the owner was very helpful. Our weeks stay was delightful in every respect and BA is a vibrant city.

This apartment was just as advertised - in a good part of town close to amenities and subway (we used the subway a lot) The owner was very helpful in getting us settled, giving us a list of things we might want to do including suggestions for restaurants and how to deal with the taxis! The price was great and everything was new, clean and comfortable.

This review is overdue but needed to be posted. Last Aug 2009, was my first time renting an apartment for vacation as I usually stay at hotels. I was a bit weary not knowing what to expect but the owner Max was a gem to work with. He answered all of my many questions and concerns promptly and made the transaction and stay enjoyable. I didn't have to worry about a thing! Max even helped give us tips on taking a trip to El Calafate to see the glaciers and helped arrange any taxis we needed to the airport upon our departure. The apartment was adequately furnished and we felt at home there. A couple of the perks was having a full kitchen and washing machine. We didn't have to pack as much clothes since we could do laundry at night or while we were out. Plus with all the glorious food, we could go to the supermarket and shop for drinks and even bring back leftovers in the refrigerator and heat it up later. Staying at this apartment definitely beats staying at a hotel. Location was ideal and safe. Max is extremely helpful and flexible. Even on the day of our departure, we had a late flight leaving BA and he let us stay in the apartment at no extra charge and didn't force out out early. I don't know what I would've done without Max. He definitely made our stay in BA an awesome experience!
