Araceli de Taos is an amazing condominium home, one of 18 units. It is surrounded by serene landscaped grounds and mountain views. The floor plan is designed for comfort and privacy. The entrance and private court yard behind the home give a quiet garden feel. It is approximately 1800 square feet, and is perfect for 4, but can sleep 6. MINIMUM OF 3 NIGHTS REQUIRED.
Sleeping accommodations include king-size beds in both bedrooms and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. The large master bedroom is upstairs with 9' viga ceiling, its own roomy bathroom and walk-in closet. The hot tub is a few feet away on a private second-story patio under the skies of Taos. The second bedroom is on the first floor just off of the entrance hall with its own private full bath and walk-in closet. It offers easy access to the private court yard.
Downstairs also includes the kitchen, dining room and living room. The three rooms are arranged in an ‘L’ shape, giving separation while also offering one large room for entertaining. The living room boasts a 12' viga ceiling with kiva fireplace and banco. The rest of the home has 9' celings. Saltillo tile flooring on the first floor adds to the Southwestern flair; carpeting upstairs makes for cozy sleeping quarters.
Araceli includes one covered parking spot with additional parking available in front of the home.
Taos is a very special place and so is this home. The owners have tastefully decorated it in the Southwest tradition and are happy to share it with you. You will enjoy being here. You will be close to everything--a 15 minute walk to the Taos Plaza, a block away from El Monte Sagrado, the world class resort, spa and restaurant, and a short drive to the Taos ski valley; Red River and Angel Fire ski valleys also nearby.

Our family enjoyed this two story condo so much. The floorplan allows for privacy for one couple or children downstairs with a private bathroom off the bedroom, and the master suite upstairs included a very large, nicely appointed bathroom. Linens were fine and the beds comfortable. This place really is decorated beautifully and we appreciated all the artwork. The kitchen is well equipped and despite all the great places to eat in town we found we enjoyed the condo so much that we were happy to cook and relax there on several evenings rather than dining out. Although our visit was in February we found it close enough to town to walk to the plaza and restaurants within 10-15 minutes. This condo is in a very nice, quiet complex and we rarely heard or saw neighbors, although the few times we did chat with others in the parking lot we found everyone to be very nice. The courtyard with gas BBQ is private and adjacent to the dining room, and the hot tub on the second floor patio appeared to be well maintained. Although we were in town to ski we found that it was a good central location for getting to Taos Ski Valley and Angel Fire. I highly recommend this place for a family who wants to relax in a comfortable and classy condo while on vacation. I also recommend having dinner at Doc Martins - the chile relleno plate was so good as were the buffalo ribs, and be sure to have a margarita in the Adobe Bar too!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

My husband and I went here with another couple and we absolutely loved it. The condo is beautiful, with great local decor, but we have to say that the rooftop hottub was our favorite feature! It's a very short walk to town- try Doc Martin's blue corn blueberry hotcakes...I am still craving them years later! We would love to stay here again sometime!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
