Excellent experience all around. The owners were prompt and responsive throughout the whole process. My friends and I had a very enjoyable, pleasurable experience. The house was beautiful and a lot larger than the pictures portray. It easily accommodates 10 adults, both couples and singles. I'd highly recommend this house to anyone looking to rent near Mt. Snow (as well as being 20-30 mins drive to Stratton Mountain). I would definitely inquire about renting this house again in the future.

Our group rented the home this past weekend. The house was very roomy and the accommodations were spotless. Linens, towels, and vast amounts of utensils were among the highlights. The big highlights however were the beautiful bathrooms, huge master sweet, and two enormous living spaces with gorgeous fireplace. Having rented homes in Vermont - WIFI and satellite are not always available and that was also a big plus! We were in close proximity to Mt. Snow (couple of miles) and numerous restaurants and shops. Everyone we encountered in the area was extremely pleasant. The owners were courteous and so willing to work with our requests. We can't wait to come back to this beautiful home...even our friends are passing this listing onto their friends, and so on! You MUST check this home out!

Amazing Experience

Rented this property for this past weekend (MLK 2011) and was blown away by every aspect of the house. Photos on VRBO doesn't do this home justice, as everybody was overwhelmed by the space, furnishings, kitchen, convenience, etc. I have rented several different ski homes through VRBO and have to say this has been one of the best experiences. The homeowner was prompt with e-mails and facilitated a smooth transaction for us. Property was clean and felt very comfortable. Would recommend this property to anybody and would look forward to staying here again.

Enjoyed a beautiful weekend at this home. The home was spacious & comfortable. The gas fireplace was such a treat. And it was great to sit around the fire pit outside. Large kitchen was good for staying in and making meals.

This house was absolutely beautiful! It was great for a group of friends- plenty of cozy bedrooms and lots of places to relax. The kitchen had a really nice set up for cooking and since it is open to the dining and living areas it was perfect for hanging out. I really enjoyed the outdoor space as well- the deck and fire pit with the brook in the background were enjoyed by everyone. Thanks :)

Perfect Getaway

This is more than a house - it was home for a nice fall getaway with some great friends. The house is beyond spacious, with rooms that are welcoming and cozy. The kitchen, which in any home becomes the main room, provides ample room for cooking. The back porch, the brook and the firepit created a nice atmosphere for laughs and sharing stories amongst friends. There is nothing like sitting under the starry sky with a nice fire to keep you warm. This house comes highly recommended - the owners are very nice and welcoming. It is close to many local attractions including Mt. Snow and Wilmington (although, you could enjoy a whole weekend without ever leaving the house).

This house more than met expectations! It had plenty of rooms (and rooms) for all, gorgeous kitchen and open dining/living space to eat, and lounge all together. The brook out back was the perfect topper to this fall weekend getaway! I would love to come back here again, and highly recommend this place to anyone!

Brand new house that is full of amenities and close to everything. Owners were lovely to work with and provided everything possible to make the weekend wonderful. Although the house looks fabulous in the pictures, they don't even begin to do the house justice...it is even better once you are there! This house is great for any season of the year and the location can't be beat. House is located between Wilmington and Mount Snow, close to nature, activities, shopping and dining. I have rented many houses over the years and would whole-heartedly recommend this property to anyone and I hope to be able to come back in the future! Thanks for providing such a great experience.

My husband and I spent a lovely weekend at this residence during the changing of the foilage. The babbling brook behind the house was so serene, and the appointments in the home just wonderful. We can't wait to go back and ski at Mt. Snow!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful house with us. We expected a really nice place based on the pictures- and were VERY pleasantly surprised by how absolutely wonderful your home is. You guys have done an amazing job with this place! Everything was perfect - roomy, airy, spotless, beautifully furnished and my husband said he had the best nights sleep ever on those fantastic new beds! Was close to everything - loved the little town nearby with the great cafes and o yes, we'll be back at that Hermitage Inn this winter for a cozy drink (or two) after a day out on the slopes and trails. Loved it - thank you SO much for giving us something to look forward to during the upcoming winter months!

Wow - this house is an absolutely spectacular Vermont home. Everything is brand new and top of the line. The owners have put the 'best of the best' into every feature to make this a great place to spend time with friends and family. The first floor has a great open floor plan, which made it fun and easy to be able to socialize while preparing meals - a particular favorite of mine! And the outdoor setting is so peaceful and quiet, just a perfect spot for a great dinner on the deck followed by a blazing bonfire under the stars. We can't wait to get back to enjoy the fall colors and some wintery fun. Definitely one we bookmarked to come back to and bring a crowd. We've already made plans with our bookclub for our annual getaway. This one is a winner!

Incredible House and Location

What a great summer getaway! We can only imagine how awesome this house and location would be during other times of the year especially the winter with skiing and snowmobiling so close by. It's both new and spacious yet has a very cozy feel. It has a very open floor plan and there are both gathering areas and little nooks to curl up with a book. The deck and yard are perfect for barbecues and family fun. Quaint shops, art galleries and cafes are within a short drive. There is also a lake with boating and water sports and scenic hiking trails nearby. We highly recommend this house and look forward to a return visit.
