Best neighborhood in New York City, near Chinatown, Little Italy, West Village, East Village. Great restaurants, including the Union Square Cafe, stores, food supermarkets, including Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, plus a three times a week farmers market. Three major movie houses, and two art movie houses. Bowling alley and several gyms within a block of apartment.
The apartment is furnished with items from around the world. I am a journalist so grab rugs, artwork, artifacts and other things when on assignment. Double bed and antique single bed, which serves as a sofa and can sleep one. Near subway hub that takes you all over the city in minutes. Good bus system.
For short stays Romeo, my cat prefers to stay in the apartment. Cat litter is feline pine, which does not smell.
Apartment has no elevator. Maid comes in within a week to take care of cat and clean apartment.
