What makes "The Beacon" an experience unlike no other? Simple, the freedom to explore three EPIC ski mountain resorts at your doorstep without the massive crowds or endless lines.

For starters the skiing at Snowbasin (where the 2002 Olympics were held) is out of control: 2,959 vertical feet of ski trails with spectacular terrain to suit everyone’s needs. A whopping 64 runs include 11% novice, 45% intermediate and 44% expert . There is also 26KM of Nordic skiing for those ready to wind across scenic glades and under towering mountain peaks or for the winter sports enthusiast try the superpipe and 2 terrain parks. The views like the skiing are jaw dropping and it is just 15 minutes up the road. You gotta check out Needles lodge at the top of the Needles Gondola, 8,750 feet up. Fireplaces, dining and and ridiculous views await!

Then for all you Powder lovers, Powder Mountain (4 minutes up the hill) is a locals secret. DEEP powder anyone!!! For the adventurous check out the heli-skiing or some amazing back country trails. Last but certainly not least Wolf Mountain (4 minutes down the hill) is perfect for those just getting started and families. Also get this, the entire mountian is lighted making it the number one choice for NIGHT SKIING!
