  The condo was exactly as described on the owner's website. We asked for more pictures before we rented and they can be found at www.vacationincarolina.com (owner's own website). The room was exactly as described. The bedding arrangements were as expected and we were able to fit in nicely with the kids sleeping in the guest room and sofa bed. It looked like the guest room was rarely used, which was fine for the kids. Room even has a nice stereo for kids to play their music. The view was fantastic!!!! It really is worth it to get a room as high up as you can so you can see everything. We were able to see miles up and down the Grand Strand from our balcony. We ate and enjoyed much of our evenings listening to the waves on the ocean front balcony with no one looking in at us. The location is only a few blocks from Broadway At the Beach Shopping Area and we were there every night eating and having a great time with the kids. The owners were great to work with. We had questions about the WIFI and maid service and they were able to help us. We would definitely come back!

  This is NOT a luxury penthouse. The furniture is definitely not as described and the photographs are misleading and obviously NOT of this particular unit (the big giveaway? the master suite is the other way around). The fabric on the chair and sofa in the living room was extremely dirty; the sofa bed very uncomfortable to sit on as the back appeared broken and both pieces of furniture were smelly. In fact, I was grateful to find an air freshener spray which I used throughout the unit to try and eliminate the awful smell when we arrived. The carpets are in dire need of cleaning - probably contributing to the smell. Our friends used the master bedroom so we are unable to comment but the second bedroom that we used only had two double beds - not queens as described in the listing. This was very disappointing. The linens provided (both bedding and towels) were of no better than dollar-store quality and the bedspreads looked unwashed or faded and old. The sheet (in the singular) that topped one double bed was frayed around the edges and it barely fit, and the pillowcase on the same bed was threadbare and ripped. There was no full-length mirror in the second bedroom (in fact, no mirror in the bedroom at all). The televisions provided in the condo were all old and the picture quality very poor. The kitchen was just adequately equipped. The location, however, was perfect. I would suggest that the owner have all the carpets cleaned, the whole place painted and the furniture replaced. We would not recommend this unit for rental to any of our friends.

  COndo suite had excellent views. We could see the entire Grand Strand al the way down to the pier. Wife and I walked the beach every AM and kids enjoyed the pools. Location was so convienient to shopping at Broadway at the Beach and for great seafood restaurants. Kids loved the Dolly Parton Dinner show. We'll definately return.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+.

  We have been renters through VRBO for over a decade. We've rented some OK, some decent and some great places. This condo falls into the "great" category. The condo was very clean, roomy, bright and airy. We loved the combination lock for entry into the condo. The beds were comfortable and having two full bathrooms was wonderful. Also having a washer/dryer in the condo was so convinent. It was great having 3 TV's, and high speed internet access for my husband to keep in touch with work. But the best thing of all was the view! It was sooo wonderful and soothing to wake up, and look out through the slider door to see the ocean. Basically, we can't say any thing bad about this condo. We totally recommend renting this condo.

  We stayed in Collin's 2 BR/2 Ba condo at Roxanne Towers. It was a wonderful stay. The condo is absolutely gorgeous!! Collin was very wonderful to work with on setting up our stay. The staff at Roxanne Towers was accomodating. We were also fortunate enough to stay at his condo at Camelot by the Sea. Again, a very beautiful condo. The staff there gets an A+ in my book. Very nice staff!! We would definitely recommend a stay at either condo. And we will definitely stay again! Thanks Collin!!
