When you have a relaxing getaway in mind, the last thing you want is a noisy building with all-night partiers rumbling up and down the hallways. We've all been there! The Timbers is Keystone’s MOST LUXURIOUS, PLATINUM RATED, premium condominium complex. Built in 2002, this stone and timber enclave is designed with exquisite luxury, and and a true ski-in, ski-out vacation in mind.

It is on the mountain, just above the chair lift. The lovely ¼ mile heated driveway is the perfect entry to the peaceful and woodsy Timbers property. When you are at The Timbers you are tucked away from the crowded tumult of town, nestled in serene, Platinum Rated luxury--yet you are immediately adjacent to the slopes. The Timbers Lodge consists of only 30 homes. So the common areas are quiet and low-key. Apres ski, you really can relax in quiet in the indoor/outdoor heated pool or hot tub. Have a beverage or two in front of the fire at the lodge and chat with other skiers. Work out the kinks at the fitness center or enjoy the sauna.

When you are here you have choices: you can ski over to the gondola, just over the bridge in the village, or you can breeze on over to the chair lift and have it practically all to yourself... From here there is NO walk to the lifts. The door to THIS 2nd floor home is less than 30 steps from where you put your skis on. No stairs, no elevators, no need for lockers (though they are available). Staying here allows you to AVOID THE HASSLES most other skiers encounter. Walk out the back door and ski (about 150 yards) to the chair lift or to the gondola at River Run. Take a run and ski back to the condo to shed clothing or have lunch--without ever having to go back into town! Spend your time on the slopes rather than dealing with the crowded shuttles and busy ski-restaurants!

Our 2 bedroom, 3 bath condo is beautifully furnished and is equipped with top amenities. It provides a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. The living room has a gas fireplace and a private, stone-covered balcony overlooking the Snake River.

River Run Village is a short stroll over the bridge and is appointed with several fine shops and restaurants. Keystone Resorts provides 24 hour free shuttle service throughout the area. The listing party would be happy to offer any advice on transportation.

Below are answers to some of the immediate
questions you may have about our condo at The Timbers.

Q: What determines the rate range within specific date ranges?
A: The number of people who we are accommodating and the demand for
accommodations in the area. Holidays are busiest and so generally
command higher rates. If you've checked around, you know that our
rates are DRAMATICALLY lower than those offered through the resorts!

Q: Is housekeeping included in the rates?
A: Yes! Exceptions are if you want mid-stay cleaning/s or if you stay
less that 3 nights (when available)

Q: What about early check-in and late check-out?
A: Yes! If we can accommodate you we will. It all depends on our
other bookings and on how busy our housekeeping service is

Q: What is the square footage of the unit?
A: 1,250 Square Feet

Q: Can you accommodate more that 6 people?
A: Sorry, no, unless the 7th person is an infant. More than 6 is too
many people for the comfort of the guests and of the neighbors!

Q: What form of payment do you accept?
A: Personal checks when time allows for funds to clear before the
start of your stay; otherwise Cashier's Check or Money Order

Why the Owner Chose River Run, Timbers

We chose Keystone because it is the best combination of a great town and great skiing.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo

Keystone is a low-key ski town with first rate skiing and other snow sports. The Timbers is the finest ski in ski out property in Keystone's River Run Village. Adjacent to the chair lift, but away from the tumult of town, The Timbers is a small, Platinum Rated, mostly owner-occupied building. When you stay at The Timbers you are assured of a peaceful, fun, enjoyable getaway. Night skiing is, of course one of the features River Run Village is noted for. We invite you to be our guests.

Owner's Map of River Run, Timbers

Ace Battiste lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with his wife, Julie, and cat, Easy. He grew up in Pueblo, Colorado and first learned to rocket down the slopes at Monarch. Ace and Julie get away to Keystone whenever possible.

Liz Stockdill, a native of New Mexico, lives in Santa Barbara, California. When in the high country she enjoys cross country skiing and snowshoeing--and a hot drink next to a warm fire while watching the snow fall.

This property was everything it was advertised to be. The condo and common areas were very well maintained and high end. The location was perfect for getting on and off the slopes. It was also an easy walk into nearby River Run shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Fun Family Ski Vacation

Guest: Ann (Fayetteville, NC)
Date of Stay: 12/16/10 Review Submitted: 01/03/11

The condo was a great location for our family of 6! We had plenty of room, especially with 3 bathrooms. We were able to walk to everything even with little ones. Our kids loved the heated pool, hot tub and especially the hot chocolate available in the lobby 24/7! Great family vacation and it SNOWED the whole time! Maybe the owners can order up snow for you, too....

We just returned from our wonderful stay in Keystone Colorado! Our condo in the Timbers was perfect. We were pleasantly surprised with how nice it was! The place was kept up perfectly! The views were wonderful of the mountains and snake river. We enjoyed the outdoor area with the stone arch, so pretty! Thanks again, we will hopefully be back one day!

We had a teriffic time at the timbers 3066. We enjoyed every aspect of it, from the closeness to the slopes to the warm coffee in the lobby. I would highly recomend this property. It has everything one could ask for and more. We can't wait to go back.

We enjoyed our stay at your Timbers condo tremendously! Great slopeside location, easy access to slopes, a 5 minute walk from the River Run village, nice furnishings, tons of space, and Timbers is a great building with lots of amenities (our kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool, and we enjoyed the fitness room and hot tub). The kitchen was also great and was well equipped for cooking meals a couple of nights. Keystone is great ski area for families with varying abilities. It has a nice variety of terrain and modest lift lines. For advanced skiers looking for a challenge, Keystone offers snowcat rides up a ridge to two back bowls from which one can ski down ungroomed powder runs. Keystone is one of the closest ski areas to Denver International Airport (1.5 hours). We also strongly recommend purchasing multi-day tickets a minimum of a week before your arrival. In addition to saving you a lot of money, it also allows you to ski at Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Vail and Beaver Creek (all are within 20-25 minutes).

Ski-in ski-out is the only way to go. It was really easy every day for everyone to get up and just ski over to the gondola. We loved it. The spa tub in the master bath was great. The Timbers is quiet and really beautiful. We loved your condo.
