Book early for the 2010/2011 Ski Season! Discounts for early bookings! Our calendar is always up to date.
We've made two new updates to the condo. Brand new carpet was installed in August 2010. A flat panel LCD TV was installed in December 2009. The condo looks great!
A true ski in/ski out slope-side Copper Mountain "Gold" condominium located in Tucker Mountain Lodge. Don't be fooled by other condos that claim they are "slope side". Take a look at our pictures- they speak for themselves. This condominium overlooks the American Flyer high-speed quad (four person) chair lift. See the link below for access to our blog containing additional pictures of the condo. The blog also contains YouTube videos of the condo! See to believe!
Tucker Mountain is one of the newest buildings in the Village at Copper Mountain and is located just steps (75 yards) away from the American Flyer high speed chair lift. Don't be fooled by other condos that claim they are slope side.
For example, Passage Point is approximately 1/4 mile from the slopes and yet many of the condos are advertised as "slope side". If you're lucky, a Passage Point condo might face the slopes, but 50% of those condos are less than 200 yards from I-70. The only "gold" Copper Mountain properties that are slopeside are Tucker Mountain Lodge and Copper One. There are only a few 1BR/2BA/Den SLOPESIDE condos in Tucker Mountain Lodge and Copper One. The architects reserved slopeside views for the larger, much more expensive, condos. Our view is one of a kind!
Before you rent any other condo, email me and I will give you an unbiased opinion of where your prospective condo is located and how far you are from the slopes. Once you leave our building, you only have to walk 75 yards to the American Flyer lift. At the end of the day, ski down to the base of the mountain right up to the cobblestone walkway in front of our condo.
Kick off you skis, place them in your own secure ski locker inside the heated locker room located on the first floor of our building. Take the elevator to our condo, put on your swim suit, grab a cold beverage and head to the outdoor hot tub.
Tucker Mountain Lodge is designed as a rustic back-country retreat, entering the lobby of Tucker Mountain Lodge will make you feel like you have just stepped into a historic National Park Lodge!
Our condo features a warm river-rock fireplace and amenities include a huge outdoor hot tub. There is also an exercise room located on the first floor which includes a sauna, weight machine, two exercise bikes, one treadmill, and one elliptical trainer. Our condo includes the following:
* Slope side to the American Flyer Lift
* One-car heated underground garage parking
* Outdoor hot tub
* First floor heated private ski locker on plaza/ski lift level so you won't have to take your skis up and down the elevator.
When you arrive at Copper, you can park your car and leave it parked until you depart if you desire. There's an elevator that will take you from the underground parking garage to the fourth floor where our condo is located. Everything you need is within walking distance from our condominium including restaurants, shops, and night clubs.
Tucker Mountain Lodge is one of newest and best maintained building in the Center Village. Our condo is highly appointed, and extremely homey. We have created a home with all the luxuries and then some: high-end linens, coffee maker, dinnerware, stemware, pots & pans and cooking utensils. While the condo was built in 2000, it was recently painted and updated to include solid granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom, new vanity in the bathroom, undermount sinks and high end faucets. As a result of the update/remodel, this is the nicest 1 Bedroom condos at Copper Mountain.

Year Purchased: 2003
Why the Owner Chose Tucker Mountain Lodge
We lived in Colorado for almost 6 years and left in 1992. Colorado is one of the most beautiful places we have ever lived/visited. When we lived in Colorado (Denver), our favorite ski resort was Copper Mountain. We've skied at all of the resorts in the central Rockies and none of them (Winter Park, A-Basin, Loveland, Breck, Keystone, Vail, Monarch & Crested Butte) compare to Copper. That's why Copper is referred to as "the local's favorite". You can't beat Copper's location- it is the most accessible ski resort of any of those I previously mentioned. The terriain is varied, so there is "something for everyone". When we decided to buy a Colorado condo, we never thought of any location other than Copper Mountain.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The number one benefit of our condo is the LOCATION! We face the slopes. The condo overlooks the American Flyer lift. In less than two minutes, you can be standing in line at the American Eagle or American Flyer lifts! While the condo is slopeside, it is tucked away in a location that is extremely quiet. This condo has been remodeled extensively and now features solid grainte counter tops, fresh paint and new vanity in the bathroom and custom made bed coverings.
Please see the link to my blog which features additional pictures of the condo and three (3) YouTube videos to give you a better idea of the layout & location of our condo.
We have found the most economical place to purchase groceries is Wal-Mart or Safeway in Frisco. Wal-Mart and Safeway are located next to each other. Wal-Mart is MUCH less expensive than Safeway, but

Condo was as described on the site. Excellent location close to the slopes. Jim's video of a short cut through the customer relation building in Copper 1 was useful. The condo is well mainatined with all the amenities. Nice view overlooking the American Flyer lift. Lots of good info provided by the owner. Will look at staying there during our next trip to Copper.

Our family stayed at this nice condo the week before Christmas. The location is fantastic because it is central to everything you need. There's a number of restaurants right outside the front door, not to mention the ski lifts. There's bus service if you have children taking classes at Union Creek just down the road. The condo itself is clean and comfortable. The on-site laundry room was great, but make sure to have quarters as there isn't a changing machine available. The business office is in the next building if you need to print boarding passes (from a thumb drive) for a fee. We would definitely come back to this condo.

We visited 3 resorts while staying at the condo, which its central location made this quite easy. The condo was in great shape, and we the underground parking was heaven after traveling to Keystone and Vail. Location is also great and you can be on either the Eagle or the Flyer within 4-5 min of walking out the front door.

We had a fabulous time skiing in copper mountain. The unit itself was very convenient to the slopes and right inside the village. The gas fireplace was great, everything was very clean. The condo was very comfortable and very nicely decorated. Granite countertops, beautiful (and comfortable) natural wood furniture, and windows overlooking the slopes and the hottub. Thanks for the great stay!!

This condo is excellent! The view is superb. Once you open the blinds all you see is white snow capped mountains and skiers/snowboarders coming down the mountain or up the ski lift. The location is excellent as well. It is located about 300 feet from the main ski lodge and the area to purchase lift tickets/rentals/etc. The amenities in the condo are everything you need and more. The full kitchen makes it easy to cook full meals and you are provided with all of the cooking utensils you will need. There is ample room for either a full family or even a single traveler. Working with the owner was very easy. He answered all of my questions and was pleasant to work with. I will definitely be a repeat customer upon my return to Copper Mountain.

The condo is better than described. Updates are nice, just like being at home. The view is amazing. You can watch the skiers leave on the lift and come down the slope, even the falls. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Copper Mountain is definitely under rated, we enjoyed it very much. Not much for night life, but Great family atmosphere. The owner was great to work with while making reservations, he even made contact with me on the day of arrival, to make sure we found everything for check in. Thank Jim for sharing your condo. We will be back!
