  • Just about every water sport nearby that you can imagine! The Volcanos National Park is about 90 miles, a great day trip, or go at night and see the glow of a live lava flow! Kona area is famous for its deep sea fishing for Marlin, Ahi (Tuna); Ono; Sailfish; MahiMahi. Waters are usually calm. Great scuba/snorkeling trips too, Sunset party cruises, swim with dolphins at the nearby Kealakekua Bay and explore the Captain Cook refuge. The Hilo side of the island is also worth a trip with magnificent waterfalls, rain/fern forests, go a little south to the PUNA area and see black sand beaches, swim in hot ponds, explore more lava flows and forests filled with ferns and flowers including wild orchids!

  • We stayed in this unit twice, once in December 2007 and again in April 2008. We love the location and convenience. It's great to be able to see fish, turtles, and whales from the unit and better still to make the short walk to Magic Sands Beach to swim or sunbathe. The unit is very comfortable for us, two people. Really appreciated the attention of internet access between December and April. Only issues can be some road noise, true of any property along Alii Drive, and could use some better cooking utensils.

  • We just spent the most relaxing vacation in Kona at your lovely studio on the ocean. We could not thank you enough for such a great place. Right from the time we walked in and until the day we left. Which made me cry. You had everything there for us immaginable. We loved the decor of the inside and never felt cramped with just the 2 of there. The manager on duty kept the grounds immaculate. The views were exceptional. The beach next door was so much fun, and the park on the other side was kept very well. The house across the street had a couple of loud parties, but we just opened the patio door and then could not hear them. The only other bad thing was the early morning traffic at 430am. But that is not the condos fault. We were centrally located and could get to anything we wanted within minutes. Thanks again for letting us stay at your condo. Hopefully someday we will be back.
