Our stay at Hale Kei Ka'ala was outstanding. We relaxed by the pool, went to the beach, played some golf, and generally bummed around. The boys had a blast and enjoyed Hawaii very much. Thanks for your hospitality.

Thanks again for letting us return for another stay at your home on the Big Island. We all had a great time and it was fun treating my parents to a vacation there. Dear Stacey, I wanted to give you a report on our stay. We are having a wonderful time at your beautiful vacation home at the Kohala Ranch, and feel so very fortunate to be here. The home is so pleasant in its layout and furnishings. We like the color scheme and the artwork is lovely. We have been taking advantage of the pool and grill. We love the views. We are enjoying the sunsets, star gazing, and moonlight. The geckos and birds have been entertaining us. It is perfect. Audrey has been very helpful with our initial settling in. We have done a fair amount of exploring in the surrounding area. Tomorrow we head for the volcano. Thank you for making your vacation home available to us. Best regards, Heather

We had a great time in this beautiful house. Thanks so much for making it easy to have Hanna (age 1) and Nolan (age 4) here. You have the world's best high chair! We wonder how you got each room to have a different, but equally good smell! Nolan especially liked watching whales with the "binoculators" and going in the "snuzzi" (jacuzzi)! Thanks and Aloha! Aloha Stacey, We're back from our Big Island vacation. Hale Kei Ka'ala was fantastic! You've done a terrific job with the home and it was very sad leaving yesterday. I'm so glad that we chose to stay there. We definitely want to return. If circumstances allow, we'd like to stay at the house again in mid-April or early-May of next year. A big Mahalo from me.

It is hard to imagine finding a home in a setting which we could have enjoyed more. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable and well equipped for our needs. The view down over the pasture/ravine to the sea was mesmerizing. The pool was inviting and clean. The pool maintenance service who came twice a week seemed to have the water perfectly balanced, as no one was complaining of burning eyes from too much chlorine. We enjoyed several lovely beaches within about a 10 minute drive of the home, as well as horseback riding on open range and volcano viewing from a helicopter service based in Hilo. Audrey, the neighborhood woman who serves as the "on site" property manager was very professional and eager to meet any needs or answer any questions that arose. Though we have nothing officially planned, we do look forward to future visits to this unique property!

We REALLY enjoyed our stay at your home. It's a beautiful home and what amazing weather! It was about 85 degrees and sunny every single day! Is that unusual for winter? I slept with the windows open and loved waking up to the sun and sound of the birds outside. The kids were in the pool nearly every morning and we enjoyed the snorkeling at Spencer Beach and the boogie boarding at Hapuna Beach. On Christmas eve we were boogie boarding as the sun went down! A wonderful vacation and anniversary celebration. We're looking forward to getting back to Hawaii in the near future. Hope you and your family had a great holiday. Again, thanks for everything.

1) The house was exactly as advertised- some thing very often not the case in other houses we have rented. Often the pictures are old, and many things are run down and understandably given usage etc. Our 6:31 sunsets resembled the picture on your web site exactly. 2) The house was extremely well stocked w/ the little things that make short stays really easy or difficult, i.e. garbage bags, aluminum foil, spices, cooking utensils etc. 3) The super market in Waimea was surprising large and the prices reasonable (maybe my senses are lost coming from New York). Costco was good but almost not necessary for first timers.
