This beach positioned, almost 2000 foot, home on Lakeshore has a great view of the water. To see our availability just click on the view calendar tab to the right. This beautiful home is the guest house of the big house located higher on the hill and it has all the amenities a vacation home would need. (Check out VRBO® #75905). You can check us out on our personal website rentlaketahoehome. com for more videos. You can rent both homes for a large family gathering. This house also has air conditioning for those hot August nights. Hot Tub and WI-FI give this house the advantage. A beautiful travertine fireplace in the living room with beams in the ceilings accents this lovely vacation villa. With glass to the ceiling of the lake side rooms, this high ceiling home is open to view the outside from inside the home. We also have a horseshoe pit for the western flavor. There is also a ramp to the side door and is Handicapped accessible. There are grab bars in the master shower.
If you are a runner or long distance competitor, this is the place to be. Most races pass right by our home and you can cheer them on as they pass by.
This home has a large master suite with a spacious bath with a jetted tub overlooking the lake. There are sleeping quarters of three bedrooms and a fold-out sofa. There are two decks located off of the Kitchen, the family room and the living room are one giant room so the whole family can be together at one time. The hot tub, on the back deck, is a great spot for relaxation and conversation. A Television is located in the family-room and master bedroom and cable is available for your watching pleasure. Bring your ipods because we have a docking station so you can listen to your favorite music.
If you have bikes, bring them. Scenic Lakeshore Drive has a long walking path for walking or jogging and is short few feet from the front door of the home. It will take you longer to drive over to the beach than to walk. If you look at picture number 5 on VRBO #75905 you can see how close to the beach the home really is. For an extra fee you can use the golf cart to go back and forth to the beach. During the summertime people will actually park farther away from the beach than the houses are located. But having that golf cart is a real treat when it comes to walking up the hill to the house.
Burnt Cedar Beach has a pool, snack bar, and an on-duty lifeguard at the beach and the pool; with the pine trees and the picnic benches all around, this is a perfect place for recreation. This home is located across from Burnt Cedar Beach. The home also has ample parking for Jet skis and or a boat. You may launch your vessel at Ski Beach for only a few dollars. There are three beautiful private beaches only you and the residents of Incline Village can use. You must call us to reserve this property. There are no other charges other than what is listed below.

We have an annual trip planned to tahoe every January with close friends. We normally stay at South Shore, no real reason why. This time while planning our trip we came across Bill and Mary's place and decided to give it a try. It was immediate love and in fact we had only been there 15 minutes when our friends say "we are coming back next year" and we readily agreed!! Everything about the house was perfect. It was roomy, the location was perfect, the decor was homey, the great room was truly a great room and the kitchen big enough for 4 adults and two big dogs to be in there at the same time. Everything you could need for the weekend was there, including discs to sled on, crates for the dogs two areas for sitting, a HUGE comfy couch in front of a HUGE TV. Bill and Mary were extremely friendly and easy to work with, we will definitely be back =))

This Place is a Gem! We Cannot Wait to Come Back!
We LOVE this house! Our family has stayed here two years in a row and we are looking forward to coming back every year! The location of this house is perfect -- it is close to everything! The beach is across the street (the views are AMAZING!), the dog beach is just a short stroll down the road, restaurants and shopping are just a quick drive away, and hiking and skiing are just beyond that. Also, the house itself is perfect -- clean, well-maintained, and filled with everything you could want or need for your Lake Tahoe getaway! (I don't think the photos do the place justice.) The well-stocked kitchen gives you the choice of to staying "home" and cooking a gourmet meal ... or you can get take out and enjoy it looking at the beautiful view of Lake Tahoe (from the decks AND the inside dining area)! And, it doesn't get much better than relaxing in the hot tub while looking at the Lake. Lastly, sometimes I have read this house described as a "guesthouse" -- don't let that fool you! This house had more than enough room for all of us (2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 large dogs); in fact, we could invite my parents and/or in-laws to stay with us, if we wanted (actually, maybe we will invite Bill and Mary -- they are the nicest, most helpful owners you could ask for).

Hello Bill and Mary. I want to thank both of you for supplying such a perfect vacation spot for our family. My husband, son, daughter-in-law, grandson, babysitter, 2 family schnauzers, and myself enjoyed your Lake Tahoe Home. The location was perfect for the wedding we attended at the Hyatt. The passes you provided for the homeowners facilities were greatly appreciated. We were able to go, as a family, to the Park and Rec center. Some of us swam and others worked out. What a great facility. Being close to Burnt Cedar Beach was enjoyable. We watched them prepare for Opening Day. We were sorry we did not have time to walk over and join in the celebration. After arriving Friday night we used your delightful kitchen to prepare dinner for us and another couple who were attending the wedding. They were impressed, the large public space, great room and kitchen makes entertaining fun. As you know we have a cabin on Lake Tahoe as well, but your facilities were more convenient for the wedding. We were more than satisfied with our decision to rent your home. We will be recommending your VRBO site to people who ask us about a place to stay at the lake. I also want to thank you for sending my necklace that I left, as well as setting the dog bowls and racks out beside the garage for us to pick up last weekend. You are wonderful hosts and it has been a pleasure to rent from you. Ross and I hope to meet up with you some time this summer for a cocktail and sunset. SPENT CHRISTMAS WEEK IN THIS HOME WITH MY FAMILY AND HAD A WONDERFUL WEEK. ALOT OF ROOM TO PLAY GAMES AND A VERY LARGE TV SO FAMILY MOVIES WERE GREAT !!CLOSE TO EVERYTHING IN INCLINE AND RIGHT ON THE LAKE. WE HAVE RENTED DIFFERENT HOMES THROUGH THE YEARS IN INCLINE VILLAGE AND THIS WAS BY FAR THE BEST !! WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR AND MAYBE SOONER !!

We spent Christmas week in the house with our grown children and had a wonderful time. The view of the lake is breathtaking, the kitchen filled with everything we needed and the location fabulous. The house layout is perfect for a family. We definitely want to return!

We have stayed in this lovely Incline home for a week in each of the previous three summers. A perfect location, beautiful view, close proximity to the Beach--our kids love it! Nice clean spa, new barbeque. The home itself is in very nice condition--clean, comfortable beds, with new living room furnishings this past year. We plan to come back again and again!

We stayed in this wonderful house over the Thanksgiving Weekend. What a wondererul way to spend our time off. Summer, Spring or Winter, this is a house to enjoy. The view of the lake is incredible any time of day. We searched many house's and were very lucky to find this one!! Thank you Bill and Mary, we will be back!

The check in time is 4:00 PM and the checkout is 10:00 AM. You may stay later if you notify us and receive permission to do so. Sometimes, we have back to back rentals and need the time to clean, otherwise we will accommodate you in any way we can. There is a silent alarm on the property. You may cancel your reservation any time before 30 days prior to your visit and we’ll send your deposit back minus your cancellation fee. There will be a 200.00 cancellation fee for doing so. We understand that from time to time there is extreme weather and poor snow, and these conditions may cause you to want to cancel your stay. You may pay an additional $25 per day rental premium (which covers your entire reservation) if you want the option to cancel anytime. You may notify us by fax or email with confirmation of your cancellation. Please include the premium rent upon booking the home if you want the option to cancel. You will not be able to occupy the home until your check clears the bank. All fees must be paid 30 days in advance of your stay and are not refundable unless you option the premium. Electronic equipment: One thing we would like to stress. Our TV and audio video equipment is presently hooked up correctly. If you change modify or otherwise tamper with the wires and cables you will be charged to re-hookup the equipment the original way. We also have Wireless internet hookup. If you find that darn thing is not working please give us a call before you call the cable company. There is a remote on the fireplace that controls the flame. Just one click should turn it on. Please do not let your children take the batteries out of the controllers for their ipods etc…If you arrive at the house and you find the house is not cleaned to your satisfaction, please do not move your things into the house before you call us so we can call the cleaning service to remedy the problem. We have had a few people who have complained about the littlest things and did not give us a chance to make it right. If you are not satisfied with the cleaning let the cleaning service make it right. We will not refund any money to renters because of cleaning issues. We will remedy any cleaning issue. If you check in prior to 4:00 pm or leave after 10:00 am without permission you will forfeit any claim for cleaning and we will charge you any additional cleaning if necessary for the new tenant. The cleaning people need all six hours to clean the house. There will be no refunds for any reason after 30 days prior to occupying our home for any reason except your deposit. To operate the TV so you can watch the DVD you must push the TV/VCR button to turn the TV into a Video Screen. Golf Cart: We have provided a golf cart for our guests as an option. For an additional $75.00 you may use the golf cart to go down to the beach only. This cart is not to be used for street use. You may use it at your own risk. We will not be responsible for any liability if you use it. The key is in a lock box and all you need to do is call us if you want to use it. Please put the key back in the lock box when you are finished with the cart. If the key is missing we will have to deduct from your damage deposit, an additional $100.00 for losing the key and re-keying cart. No Smoking: Please no smoking in the house. Thank you. If you smoke in the house we think that it is fair that you agree to forfeit your damage deposit. Other: No special arrangements are needed for jet skies and boats to be parked on the property. However, we will have to be notified 30 days prior to your arrival so we can get the necessary permits and cards for launch. Some of the window cranks may be difficult to open or close due to prior renters tampering. Please close the windows carefully and do not force the windows in any way. The Hot Tub is available for $50 dollars more for your stay. We empty the water and refill the Hot Tub every time it is used and supply it with new chemicals. We do supply bedding and toiletry items such as soap and toilet paper. However we only supply enough for a couple of days. If your stay is longer you might want to bring some extra paper and soap. The laundry or dishwasher soap is not included. There is no front desk so if you have a problem we will be delighted if you call, but please realize there is not much we can do from Las Vegas. We do have people up in Tahoe that we can count on in an emergency. Beach Passes: Incline Village has one of the most exclusive beaches in the country. The residence of Incline Village own the beach and the beach is governed by the IVGID. (Incline General Improvement District) They do charge a fee to get on the beach from $6 to $8 per day. You will need our permission to be able to pay to get on the beach. We will have the beach permission passes located on the counter of the kitchen when you get there. These passes allow you to pay to get into the beach. There is no free access to the beach. We do not include free passes to the beach. But if you do not have the permission passes from us, you will not even be able to pay to get on the beach. After you pay their fee they will give you a wrist band that will be good for the whole day. You can enter any beach with this wrist band. Sleeping arrangements: The home sleeps 16 people but if you bring extra people we do have mattresses in the closets but there is no bedding for these extra mattresses. So you might want to bring some extra blankets or sleeping bags. If you bring more than 16 people in the large house or 9 people in the small house please enclose $50 per person extra per night for cleaning, wear and tear. Extra charges: As renters you need to know that you will assume responsibility for all damage that may occur to the house and surrounding property. We will pre-approve your credit card for an amount listed above to pay for any damage that may occur during your stay. If there is no damage other than normal wear and tear, you will receive your deposit back within 10 days of your departure. Photos of the entire home (prior to your arrival) are available upon request. When the dog is left unattended or when you retire for the evening we request that you kennel your dog so there won’t be any accidents. About the owner: Mary and I really love our home in Tahoe. We have a good time vacationing and doing those honey do's that keep our place top notch. We call our home our kid magnet because they all love to go to Tahoe for family reunions. Mary is a retired teacher and Bill is a retired State Senator. We have owned property in Incline for over 15 years and we hope to have many more years in Tahoe. We have rented our home to dignitaries and movie stars and have had many weddings and retreats at our place. We would love to have you as our next guest and we know that you will thoroughly enjoy our home.
