Welcome to the Gore Mountain House!

Our 4 bedroom 2 bath home comfortably sleeps 10 guests. Stay in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains just steps away from the Hudson River walking trail and a block from North Creek's bustling Main Street. Walk to all the shops, restaurants, bars and other attractions that North Creek has to offer. Gore Mountain Ski Resort is less than 5 minutes away and there is easy access to miles of cross country and snowmobile trails. Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain are less than 1 1/2 hours to the north. You can ski at Gore and Whiteface on the same lift ticket.

In the spring, summer, and fall, enjoy outdoor activities such as golfing, boating, white water rafting, fly fishing, hiking, and sightseeing.





This nicely appointed home boasts:
- 3 bedrooms each with a large Queen Log Bed and rustic furniture
- 1 bedroom with 2 log bunk beds and rustic furniture

  • Dan & Amy, Thanks for the wonderful week long winter ski stay at the Gore Mountain House! Our Group of 7 had a very enjoyable stay at the home and on the slopes. The beds were clean and comfortable and the house was full of charm. The home was toasty and warm and we really felt at home. We all loved the convenience of being able to walk into town for breakfast and supper. We enjoyed BarVino on Wednesday night with live music, great food and drafts. We appreciate all your hospitality and tips for getting to burnt ridge and the restaurant choices. We certainly hope to have the opportunity to stay and ski once again next year. John Upton & Group

I did the entire booking through e-mail, and paid online. He was very easy to deal with and answered any and all questions. The house is great you will feel right at home.   • This house was perfect for our family. My kids loved the fact that they didn't have to share a room (much less a bed) like in the hotel rooms they are used to. Even in the heat/humidity of August the home was cool due to a great working air conditioning system. The washer/dryer really came in handy but my favorite spot was sitting on the front porch swing. Thanks for the great communication and ease of making the reservation - your beautiful house is the perfect example of what a great VRBO home is!!
