Dos Casas is on the 700 block of Fleming Street, the heart of the most beautiful section of Old Town. This lovely 2-house compound is located just a few blocks from Duval Street, Mallory Square and the Seaport. This very special neighborhood showcases the best of Old Town Key West --filled with Victorian mansions and historic homes, the Key West library, a serene palm garden and even the "This Old House" project from several years ago.
The houses have been renovated and recently refurbished. Both "shotgun" houses are tastefully done with tropical colors and an assortment of great local art. The spacious, light filled rooms have 10 foot ceilings with fans and central air conditioning. Four sets of French doors open to the spacious deck and pool.
Each house has its own front porch with comfy seating, and traditional Cuban tile and faux tile finishes -- a perfect place to relax and watch the world go by. Once through the front gate you enter a totally private oasis. All this privacy, yet just blocks from the bars, restaurants and galleries that make Key West famous.

This is a delightful property. The main house and the cottage are well appointed with everything one could need. Nothing like an outdoor shower after a late night dip in the pool with the full moon shining. The property is in a wonderful location, an easy walk to Duval Street and all it's fun or to the waterfront to catch a sail or sunset celebration. Great restaurants nearby or just a short bike ride to the islands other wonderful dining establishments, sights and beaches. Mike and Charlene have a wonderful treasure and I thank them for sharing it. I have definitely recommended this property to my friends and family.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
