This unit was remodeled in 2011 with new flooring throughout living room, dining room, kitchen and bath rooms, new paint, new slate tile on the lanai....bathrooms have new granite counter tops, new tubs surrounded with travertine. Kamaole Sands is an excellent 16 acre family resort surrounded by lush tropical gardens with large grassy areas to enjoy or play. The property is located across the street from Kamaole Beach Park III which is the largest grass park in Kihei and provides some of the best snorkeling and swimming in South Maui.
Walking distance to great shopping and numerous restaurants such as Moose McGillycuddy's, Cafe Ole, Denny's and Fred's Mexican Restaurant to name a few. In addition to its optimal location, this lovely resort offers a large swimming pool, sundeck, two jet spas, a wading pool for small children, four free play tennis courts, and outdoor picnic areas equipped with gas BBQ grills.
Our 1050 sq. ft. single level two bedroom condominium features two full baths, the convenience of a complete kitchen and a private lanai looking out across the largest lawn area in Kamaole Sands and with a small view to the ocean. Being a first floor condo makes it ideal for families with young children. The large lawn off the lanai provides an easy escape for the young ones to play while also providing the parents a chance to relax either on the lanai or indoors, all the while keeping a watchful eye on the little ones.
The barbeque area is only steps away from the back door..no journeying up and down the elevator. Building One is where our condo is located, which is situated away from all the noise of the pool area, yet only minutes from the fun.
Complete kitchen includes: electric stove & oven, refrigerator/freezer with icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. Unit is fully equipped with dishware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, cutlery, etc.
Our two-bedroom unit has a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom with two twins in the second bedroom, queen sized sofa bed in the living room.
Unit also has A/C, ceiling fans (3), color cable TV (1), DVD (1), AM/FM radio with CD, private phone, Internet access, towels and linens, washer & dryer plus lots of extras.

We recently visited this property and would stay there again in a heartbeat. The unit is beautiful (photos do NOT do it justice), the location is perfect. We stayed there as 2 couples, each with a 6 month old baby. Being a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom ground floor unit was perfect for this as we had plenty of room and could get inside and out easily without having to mess around in elevators with strollers etc. Also I thought I'd point out, we were thrilled to learn that from one bedroom to the next, no sound travels so it was quiet and private (VERY important with sleeping babies!). We hope to stay in this unit again next year, why try somewhere else when it doesn't get any better?
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our stay here was near perfection! The condo location itself is fabulous...steps from the barbecues, the pool, and a short walk to the ocean with our family of 4. We loved being in this ground floor unit. After a day at the beach my husband and I could enjoy a beverage on the lanai while the kids had a great time playing in the lush and safe green grass area while making new friends daily. The condo is fully equipped with everything you will need...just bring along your beach towels or pick some up some nearby shopping. The condo was clean, tidy, and relaxing. We WILL be back! Aloha :)

We have been vacationing at Kamaole Sands for over 25 years, and this is the best 2 bedroom unit in the whole place. We have stayed in many different units in all the different buildings over the years. This unit is in the best building, and on the ground floor so you can just step outside and walk to the beach or the pool. The tennis courts are right out the other door. The new kitchen and other upgrades are the icing on the cake.
