This 2005 newly-constructed house is situated on over 5 private acres, with no other house in sight. The house and large wrap-around deck (approximately 400 square feet.), with an outdoor shower, look onto a large, beautiful rolling meadow. Very comfortable outdoor furniture is provided, including 2 lounges. At other end of property is entrance to Deep Bottom cove, where one can kayak or canoe to Great Tisbury Pond and the finest ocean beaches on the island (such as Quansoo Beach). Alternatively, one can travel a back route to Long Point Beach.

Inside, the house has a high cathedral ceiling, with two skylights in the living room/dining room/kitchen area and one skylight in the master bedroom; there are circular fans in each of the rooms. The maple wood kitchen offers all conveniences. The great room has a wood-burning stove, surrounded by beautiful slate. There is also a gas-heating unit in the living room, and supplemental electric heat in both bedrooms. The effect, during the summer, is of a very airy house, and during the fall and winter of a snug and very warm environment.

The property, because of its central location, is a few minutes away from the airport, West Tisbury center (5 minutes), Edgartown (15 minutes), Vineyard Haven (15-20 minutes) and Oak Bluffs (15-20 minutes).
