We stayed at this townhouse early in December 2011 and we found it to be just as advertised. It’s very clean and well equipped. Everything you need is here…. just bring your swimsuits. Well, we did bring a supply of breakfast cereal and our favorite ground coffee. Why not? You have your own kitchen to enjoy. Anything else you need you’ll find at the nearby shops and restaurants. No, you don’t even need to bring a beach towel. Yes, the wireless Internet works wonderfully. Although it wasn’t a necessity, we were glad we had a golf car to putter around in. All the beaches are public, so take your pick, and just outside the entrance to Treasure Cay on a Friday evening is a vendor who prepares and sells the freshest and best conch salad you’ve ever tasted! Our hosts, Joy and Mike, know everything and everybody. They’re happy to help make your stay flawless. And yes, it’s true. There’s a gorgeous beach with the finest sand and the bluest water just across the street from the townhouse. It’s bliss. One day, we took the ferry to Green Turtle Cay as suggested. We had a great lunch at the Green Turtle Club there and found a lovely beach where we swam and snorkeled. The Thursday night pizza dinner at The Tipsy Seagull was great fun, too, and a good way to meet our neighbors and the rest of the Treasure Cay community. The grounds, gardens and pool at Mariner’s Cover are very clean and well maintained. It was a pleasure to gather each morning on the patio of the townhouse to sip coffee and plan our day; and yet, as we sat and listened to the lightly rustling palm branches and looked out on the quiet, still-sleeping marina, it was sometimes difficult to imagine going anywhere else! . We’re very happy with our choice of rental and will definitely be return customers!

My family and I travelled to Abaco to "get away from it all" as they say. We definitely did that in spades!! When I left Canada I was a very unhappy and very stressed person. That did not last long: We found paradise! Upon arrival in Treasure Cay, we were met by a very friendly taxi driver who cheerfully took us to "The Treasure Trove" and helped us carry our bags in and get settled. Upon entering the townhouse, we were met by airconditioned comfort and a lovely floral arrangement that pleased our daughter to no end. The townhouse itself was quite clean and well worth the price; having all of the ammenities of home. In less than 2 minutes we were changed and ready for the beach! To say Treasure Cay Beach is one of the best in the world is a complete understatement! It is idyllic. We were door to beach in lass that 2 minutes flat and into the ocean bobbing like corks 30 seconds later feeling the stress of work just melt away! Do not forget your sunscreen as the sun is exceptionally HOT in april! After soaking up the sun and the sea for a few hours, we decided to have a late lunch on the beach at the "Coconuts Restaurant". There we were quite happy with the overall quality and pricing of food (our family of 3 ate well for less that $50 - drinks included). Try their "Cracked Conch" - pronounced "Conk" - pieces of conch lightly battered and deepfried...a fabulous substitute for onion rings! Other restaurants in the area include "The Spinaker" and the "Tipsy Seagull" bar where our family met with almost the entire community for Pizza night on Thursday evening! The pricing and quality were again very good. The Bahama Beach Club provides an interesting dining experience. They do not take Cash or Credit Cards at the restaurant as it appears to be a rather exclusive Members Only establishment. We decided to take in their "all-you-can-eat" BBQ rib night (approx $25/person) and had to get the help of Mike and Joy (the VERY friendly owners of Treasure Trove) to explain the process of prepayment for our dinners. They assured us that we would be completely satisfied and should not worry in the least. My family were delighted to see the owners at the restaurant and shared a Kalik (local Bahamian beer) with them before settling into more than all-you-can-eat ribs! The overall quality of our stay was exceptional and I have recommended it to friends. Tomorrow, when I return to work, I will be recommending it to my colleagues as well!

Well this is a conundrum. The owner has asked me to comment on our holiday rental experience at her unit at Marina’s Cove. I would rather no one else know about this gem, so that it is available for me, anytime I want it! So reluctantly, here is my review: If you like a crowded, noisy beach – don’t come here! If you’re used to ill equipped kitchens – can’t help! If you like a lumpy bed and threadbare linens – forget it! Unfriendly neighbours? – sorry, not one! Looking for a long walk to the grocery and liquor store? – another strike! What about an intrusive and meddling landlady? – you’ll have to rent elsewhere. SHHHHHH! It was really lovely – but don’t tell anyone……

we really enjoyed the condo. It was clean and very comfortable and the water views from both back patios were great, favorite spot at noon was upstairs looking at marina. the owner gives you a very generous amount of towels which are really large as well. When we got there she had furnished some coffee, sweetener and cremora and toilet paper scott towels and dish soap so we did not have to run right to the store. we stayed for two weeks and enjoyed it so much. It was nice having the use of the phone as we were able to call and rent a car without having to go to office to borrow. The last night we were there the owner called us and asked if there was anything that she could do to make the place nicer or if it needed anything which was great which lets you know they want to make renters happy. We will be back
