A large estate, facing Città della Pieve, 3,5 Km outside the unspoilt medieval town of Paciano, near the ancient Etruscan town of Chiusi, ruled by the legendary King Porsenna,15Km from the A1 motorway, 145 Km from Rome and 120Km from Florence (1 hour by train from Chiusi).
Picture yourself at the hearh of the farm; the countryside stretching for 50Km all around you: you are in one of Italy's most beautiful areas, enjoing Umbria's and Tuscany's view reaching as far as the cities of Monteleone d'Orvieto, Città della Pieve, Cortona, Perugia, Assisi, the three surrounding lakes: Trasimeno, Chiusi and Montepulciano and much more..The farm extend over 780 acres, mainly covered with forest and crossed by over
20 Km of scenic path, on top of Monte Pausillo, 650m above sea level - wich makes it one of summer's coolest most refreching place, dry and warm in winter. The estate is also rich in local fauna and it is not unusual to spot porcupines, foxes, wild boars, pheasents... If lucky, one might enjoy a close encounter with the roe deer, because the whole area is a protected fauna reserve.
Guests staying at "le Foresterie" can enjoy a leisurely day at the swimming pool or venture in daily escursion in one of the ancient town you can admire the outline from the estate: Cittá della Pieve (the famous "frescos" of Perugino;Chiusi(the labyrinth and the etruscan tombs) Montepulciano (the cellars); St Casciano dei Bagni (Take the swimming suit and the voucher); Castiglione del Lago and from there to the "Polvese"island by boat; Cortona (under Tuscany Sun); Perouse (the capital of Umbria)...or simply walking or biking, or fishing in one of our lakes.

The GUESTS HOUSE:
LE FORESTERIE -
This is the first house arriving from Tuscany; ideal for people who want to relax and day dream in an area surrounded by trees, listen to the evening sounds of the woods and admire the stars at night. It is about 20 metres from the bowling green and 700 metres from the pool. All flats, each sleeping 4, may be rented separetly or together.
Each apartments has terracotta floors, two bedrooms, sitting room, bath and kitchen, a parking area, an independent entrance, mosquito nets at the windows, their own outside area, a barbecue, garden furniture, etc.
Each apartments is weekly uptodate with brochures, timetables etc. and has a small library in differents languages.
Foresteria One -
First floor is 64 square metres, four people.
From the external staircase one enters the comfortable lounge, chestnut beamed ceiling, open fireplace furnished with stone benches and sofas. The kitchen is divided by a wall service hatch. The bedrooms are:a queen bedroom, and a full-size twin beds (or king size on request ) furnished with XVIII century furnishings. Both are extremely comfortable and welcoming. They are divided by a small lobby to the shower room with tiled walk-in shower. The lounge can communicates with Foresteria Two (one plus one). Barbecue.
Foresteria Two -
First floor, 57 square metres, four people.
An outside staircase leads to the big terrace(50sm) furnished for a fresco meal and sun beds. From there you enter the chestnut beamed ceiling sitting room/kitchen. A landing leads to the shower room with tiled walk-in shower and to the king-size bedroom; another landing leads to the full size twin bedroom (or king size on request) and the corridor which leads to Flat One. Hi-Fi. Barbecue. Foresteria One and Foresteria Two can communicate (one plus two).
Foresteria three
Ground floor, 62 m2, 4 people
Entrance from the garden into the big sitting room/kitchen, with french windows looking onto the woods. The double bedroom also has big windows. Steps from the sitting-room lead to the landing with the bathroom (shower) and the twin room (one of the beds is the size of a French bed) and to the door of Flat 4. HI-FI. Barbecue.
Foresteria four
Ground floor 62 sq m, 4 people
Entrance onto the spacious lounge with sofa and two armchairs, stone bench along the wall divided by a wooden arch, a serving hatch, a double room with double bed, a double room with nineteenth- century beds, bathroom with shower. Barbecue.
Foresteria 3 and Foresteria 4 can communicate (3+4)
how to get there
1- A1 motorway (autostrada del sole) in the direction of Roma Firenze (or viceversa)
2- Leave the motorway at Chiusi-Chianciano Terme and follow the signs to Perugia-Chiusi
3- Go over the railway bridge and continue towards Perugia
4- After 7,7 km take the road to Paciano
5- After the village keep straight and follow the signs to Miralaghi
6- Follow these signs for 3,1 km, and then turn right
7- After 400 m the road reaches Po’ del Vento, after another 600 m you have arrived at Miralaghi - Le Foresterie
