Just returned from our amazing weekend trip to Chateau Estephe. This huge five bedroom house accomadated our 15 person party very well. It didn't even feel like there were 15 people in the house. Chateau Estephe is newly and tastefully decorated and has a great unique three level layout. The main level has a tremendous kitchen with a screened in patio (we had fun checking out the deer at night)and a great grill, livingroom which boasts a two story stone fireplace (which we had going the whole weekend)and beautiful wooden railings and balconey, a large bedroom (the bed was really comfortable) w/bathroom, and of course the sauna and jacuzzi room. Nothing beats doing snowangels in your bikini and then jumping in the jacuzzi. Upstairs had two large bedrooms and a tremendous bathroom with a really deep tub. The basement was the boys' paradise. It had a bar with a frig for all of our liquor and boy did we have a lot, an ice machine and all the tools you could possible need to make a drink. The basement also had a pool table, poker table, popcorn machine, and a TV to set up the Playstation. The best part of this house is that it is completely stocked with everything you would have at home. There is no need to bring extra utensils, plates, towels, sheets, pillows, etc. because there are more than enough. Overall, Chateau Estephe was an A++ and I will definitely be staying there again. This was a great house and the owner could not be more accommodating.He was very easy to reach and available to answer all of our questions.I have rented many houses over the years and no one has been easier to deal with than Stephen. The adults enjoyed the very large downstairs game room as much as the kids. We had 13 people in our group and had plenty of room to be apart when we wanted to be.We enjoyed his wide selection of dvds, late nights on the screened in porch at the over sized table and playing pool while hanging out at our own bar.We couldn't get the kids out of the hot tub and loved that it was in its own private room. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals including pots/pans/plates etc... even spices. There were plenty of paper products, dish soap and cleaning products for our use. The house was very clean and well kept. Everyone in the community from the guard at the gate to the neighbors and other guest at the lake and pool were friendly and helpful. Stephen left a well organized book with info on the house and the community.The community has a lot to offer(pool,lake,restaurant/bar,parks etc..) and is conveniently located near many stores.We enjoyed go carting and miniature golf five minutes away and a short drive (30-40 min) to the water park. We loved feeding the deer everyday in the back yard .I had a chance to meet Stephen when we were leaving (we were running late) and found him to be a very sincere,sweet man.We would definitely rent this home again.Thanks again for giving us a stress free vacation.

We just had a family reunion in this house and must say that we totally plan on going again! What a fantastic house and piece of property. the house was big enough to fit us all comfortably and give us room to spread out. The pictures accurately portray the house but don't give quite the sense of freedom that it provides. Having everything we needed provided in the kitchen was a wonderful surprise! Seasonings were available for use which helped us avoidf the necessity of purchasing them. Also the yard in back is large and open untill the woods which means you get to see a great deal of deer and wildlife. We put bird feeders up and saw many different species, the highlight being the three different types of woodpeckers! The hutch in the kitchen had some menus from area restaraunts and we were thrilled to get ribs from Kundla's which has some of the best ribs anywhere! the owner was a pleasure to deal with and he came mid way through the week for a scheduled visit to check the hot tub. What a great guy and conscientious owner. everything was in great order and the instructions for the house were great, explaining how all the switches worked, etc. i have stayed many places in the Poconos but this was by far the nicest house, with the best amenities that we have ever been to! i am gathering a group of friends together to rent the property in the future because i don't want to wait 5 yrs for the next reunion!

I just had my 40th bday party here and not only was the house far better than imaged on the site working with Stephen was seamless and professional. If you are looking for a fabulous home with all the amenities and a no stress experience I highly recommend this home. If skiing is your forte the hill actually in the Hideout is perfect for the whole family!!

The only Pocono house to ever rent!!!

I have been to the Poconos many times but I never had every thing all in one house before. A few years ago I rented this beautiful house for my wifes birthday, we invivted a LARGE group of friends and still had more than enough room to have one of the greatest 3 day partys of my life. This house is equipped with EVERYTHING. The dual patios were great, my wife and her girlfriends were hanging out on the front deck while me and the boys were playing beer pong and grilling steaks on the back patio. The deers walk right through the back yard and will eat vegetables if u want to feed them.(they like watermelon) The owner was very punctual and prompt on every question i had and even had a maintenance person show up to help us with the fireplace. I strongly recommend that if you are going to rent a place to stay in the Poconos make this the destination. The downstairs is a ridiculous gameroom for guys of every age. A full bar, pool table, pin ball machines, and Arcade style video games! TVs had movies, Entertainment center came stocked with CD's, fireplace had wood. Dont worry if you forget your shampoo and conditioner because the owner is famous hair stylist that has been on TV and he stocks every bathroom with professional hair products. Bring food and alcohol and turn off your cell phones because on a scale of 1-10 this place is an 11!

This is the perfect place, for large families and groups. I just rented this past weekend 8/27 - 8/30 for a group of guys to do our Fantasy Football draft. The two prior years the homes we rented, in no way lived up to the pictures, but this house is even better. It's very spacious, the bar is great for entertaining, and Stephe the owner is great to deal with and attentive.
