  We loved this condominium so much we stayed an extra day! We arrived after dark to the heavenly floral scent of the grounds and were greeted with a gift basket of goodies (including a bottle of wine) and a very comfortable relaxing interior. When we opened the lanai doors and heard the surf we knew we had arrived in paradise. The condo is extremely well appointed and had everything we needed or could possibly have wanted. The piece-de-resistance was the view we woke up to! The condo overlooks the beach which is just a short stroll away. The snorkeling is fantastic and we spotted several turtles and tropical fish right off our point-no need to go anywhere. The view from the lanai was spectacular! We watched the sunrises and sunsets from there...why drive anywhere? None of us wanted to leave and we are already planning our next trip! The complex is quiet and inviting as is the condo. Couldn't have asked for better accommodations for our family vacation! The property manager was extremely helpful and accommodating! We feel very lucky to have found this gem!   It was incredible to wake up each morning and watch daylight breaking over the expanse of ocean seen from not just the balcony, but also from the living area. The condo was clean, well-equipped in the kitchen and welcoming. Barbara, the manager was extremely accommodating, which made our vacation worry-free. The location was perfect for us, in a quiet area but just a few minute drive from the action (shopping, restaurants). There was snorkeling to the left of the condo with no need to drive to see a turtle. We are already planning the next trip!

  Owner response: It is great to hear that our guest have had a perfect vacation at this lovely ocean/beach front condo. We strive to keep the condo well stocked and in good clean condition. When you first walk into the unit you will see a beautiful sandy beach and a full ocean view. The doors to this unit open into the walls and leaves you feeling as if you were at the ocean's edge. The large lanai has a gas grill, table and chairs for dining and a lounging area. A great place to relax and hear the ocean waves and watch the many beautiful sunsets. The snorkeling and swimming is only steps away and a wonderful way to spend part of your day. We love having our guest return year after year. Barbara

  We really loved our time at Makena Surf and the unit B203 was wonderful. Comfortable and all the luxury of home with the addition of a fantastic view of the beautiful beach and ocean from a lovely lanai. The unit was clean, the property was beautiful, and our contact person was approachable and informative. We were very happy with this our first VRBO experience.

  Never a reason to leave this well-stocked, well-situated condo. Beautiful views of Maui sunsets. Best snorkeling on the island right on your front doorstep. Our family loved every minute (except having to leave)!

  Owner response: It is great to hear from our guest and know they loved this beautiful ocean/beach front condo. The beautiful Makena beach in right at your front door. The reef in front of the condo is great for snorkeling and watching the colorful tropical fish and the large green sea turtles that swim right up to you. The spacious lanai is a great place to relax and watch the waves roll in. We have a gas grill and table and chairs to seat 6 people. Great for cooking out and watching the beautiful evening sunsets. The pool and spa is right at your door. We try to keep the condo stocked with every thing you need to get started with your wonderful vacation. There are beach chairs and beach towels for your convenience. Makena Surf is located near great restaurants and just two miles from The Shops Of Wailea if you are up for some great shopping. There is no better way to spend your vacation than in this quiet secluded tropical setting and this condo has it all.

  We enjoyed a beautiful two weeks waking up each morning to the most amazing view in the world. We were not looking for a hotel, we were looking for a home and we found it. Snorkeling, paddle boarding, swimming, boogie boarding and just enjoying the sun. A great way to enjoy the best of Makena Surf. We are already planning our next visit.

  We so enjoyed our visit to this beautiful unit at Makena Surf. Our family of 5 enjoyed the layout, simplicity and comfort of the condo. The location beats the resort atmosphere of large resorts, hands down! Barbara was professional and courteous as was the staff and ground crew in this beautiful complex. To make things even better we are just steps to the ocean and the beautiful sandy Makena beach with a picturesque view of the ocean and the islands of Molokini and Kaho'lawe. The spacious lanai is a great place to watch the beautiful sunsets while relaxing from a busy and fun day.

  Unbelievable. My family of 5 just arrived home after a week at this beautiful location. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the condo has the beach right out front. Snorkeling was great directly in front of the condo, three sea turtles were hanging out along the lava rocks to the left of the beach. We loved opening the sliding glass doors all the way open providing an open wall which we loved to watch the sunsets. This location far exceeded our highest expectations and convinced us to stay away from the busy resorts and to simply enjoy the time with our family. Thank you for bleeing us with this lovely place to visit.

The complex is lush and beautiful and this condo is ideally located with the cool inviting waters of the pool out the front door and the ocean out the other. The snorkeling is indeed fantastic with many beautiful fish and of course, the sea turtles that seem to come up to greet you as you enter the water. I am thrilled that you enjoyed the spacious lanai that sits ocean front allowing for magnificent viewing of the spectacular sunsets. I hope you were able to catch a glimpse of the green flash as the sun set on the water. This is an idealistic retreat from the usual busy resorts allowing the opportunity to relax and enjoy the splendor of Maui with your loved ones. I hope you will keep us in mind for your future travels.

  My husband, twelve year old son and I just got back from five nights at Makena Surf B203, and I really can't imagine a better place to spend a vacation. The views from the condo lanai are incredible, and opening up the glass wall makes you feel like you are living outside. The beach in front of the condo is beautiful - there's public access at the north end, but it's not very crowded - with great swimming and pretty good snorkeling (we saw turtles every day.) Decent boogie boarding later in the day when the wind picks up. Comfortable beds, kitchen with everything you need. Nice pool right in back of the condo. If you want a beautiful, relaxing beachfront base without the hordes of people at the resorts, you'll love this place. There's no grocery store nearby, but the Safeway in Kihei isn't far and has everything you'd need. There's not a lot of information in the condo about stuff to do in the area, but the folks at the condo office were very helpful. We were able to have snorkel equipment delivered to us. Although you may not want to leave, we highly recommend the sunset horseback trip at Makena Stables just down the road.
